I strive to live my life according to Godly principles and standards as set out for us in His Word the Bible. It is abundantly clear what God's view is on homosexuality, no matter what this immoral generation wants to believe. He does not change and his standards are constant. Marriage is between a man and a woman, end of discussion. I hasten to add that this is not a condemnation of gays, nor hate mongering; the Bible is also clear that anyone who wishes may cease that lifestyle, repent and become acceptable to God.

Being able to get married is a civil right and something that all Americans should be able to do. There is absolutely no reason why two people who are of consenting age should not be able to be married.

More heterosexuals have AIDS/HIV worldwide than homosexuals, and of the infections amongst homosexuals, it is largely concentrated within specific regions/communities.

But you're also forgetting that for every homosexual that dies, another one will pop up from a heterosexual couple. Or were you forgetting that heterosexual parents give birth to homosexual children? Oops.

I have to respond to your post. No church should be forced to marry anyone, but civil marriage should be allowed. We do have freedom of religion, so please don't feel you have the right to force your religious beliefs on others!
Gay people do not choose to be gay. There is no legimate proof that one can change one's sexual orientation. Also, don't try to say that you are not condemning or hate mongering remember we all fall short ss we all are sinners. "Judge not lest you be judged". Jesus gave us two commandments to love god and each other. Moses had only ten, and homosexuality was not mentioned. Also, the word homosexual did not appear in the bible until the 1950's. And don't quote paul - the greeks has a word for homosexual, but that was not the word paul used in Romans (remember the new testament was written in greek).
