I have been saying Obama sucks for some time. Up till now I didn't mean it literally.

Only if sheep can vote and can re-elect him will he endorse marrying sheep.

For 50 years these "progressives have been saying, "a piece of paper doesn't matter in a committed relationship," speaking about getting married...

Apparently they were wrong.

The family with a Dad and Mom is the basis for security for the chldren and dignity for the parents. This is the only basis for marriage and all other unions cannot call themselves that. This is the healthy model.

Why would someone not be?

All American citizens get the same rights regardless of religion, race, gender or sexual orientation.

It's simple, there is a separation of church and state in the United States of America. You cannot take away gay rights because it is against your religious beliefs or personal moral code. Marriage is not a solely religious based institution. Everyone has equal rights under the law, including homosexuals. People who oppose gay marriage are perfectly free to not marry someone of the same gender, but they cannot force that belief on others. A vegetarian has no right to outlaw meat-eating; this is the same principle.

There is no reason not to deny people equal rights.

No one is guaranteed the right to marry and neither should anyone be guaranteed that right.

Love is a human right.

So exercise the human right to love...no one needs the state to grant or take that right away.
