Come on down! I just installed a/c throughout every pit in hell. I figured out a way to have clear, cold drinking water, and a ghost plumber installed water pipes throughout! Come on down... it's a party 24/7 and you will never be judged!

Homosexuality is a sin, although it should be grouped with other sexual sins like fornication. People make it out worse than it is, although a sin, it should not be blown out of proportion. I for one do not support gay marriage because it is not real. Marriage is between a man and a woman, not two men or two women. Civil union seems like a good middle ground, where if a partner needs to make an important decision for the other partner if they cannot voice an opinion, then they would be able to. Also tax deductions should be put into place under civil union. I dislike gay marriage, but I can not control what others do. Its your life, enjoy it the way you want to. I hope I have brought some reason into this argument.

I hope I have brought some reason into this argument. Why the distinction over tax deductions? What is a logical, non-religious argument for that? Sin and law are very different. Plenty of sinful things are legal so why is their this huge disconnect about marriage? Your viewpoint, while much more enlightened than most, still sets up a pardigm by which we are discriminating against a class of people strictly because their lifestyle is sinful according to religious doctrine. Again, the government is supposed to be secular and seperate from religion and the only basis for argument against gay marriage is purely based in religion and discrimination. That should not fly for this nation. Why not civil unions for all? That makes much more sense than having the government wrestle with these religious issues.

So you think that your criminal history gives you the authority to speak on legality of people loving one another. You can't follow the laws and yet you want to impose your will on others. Sorry, but I don't want someone who can't manage to keep themselves out of jail to be making decisions about morality and righteousness for the rest of us.

I think people should be allowed to marry anybody they want. Everybody always yells about the separation of church and state. I don't understand why people want to turn their life decisions over to the government or the church. I am a Christian and have a gay brother. I read the Bible but don't let it dictate every last detail of my life. Who are we to judge other people? Just because they are gay doesn't mean they aren't humans. If heterosexuals can marry then why shouldn't homosexuals? Just because you believe one way doesn't mean everybody else in the world should think the same way.

You brought your prison record into the conversation not me. My mistakes have never resulted in me being arrested or needing to fall back on the belief of some imagined deity to make sense of my life. Knowing you were a criminal and finally found God answers every question I have about you. You are another uneducated lump of nothingness. You, like most other pseudo-christians, can't see past your religion to actually look at facts objectively. You can't do it because you are too ignorant to understand 1/2 of what science tells us about the formation of Universe and your batshit crazy religion. You won't look or even try to understand why we who actually have some knowledge in this area think your religion is just silly mythology. You can't because it is all you have that gives meaning to your life and if all of the sudden you were forced to face the fact that your magic book is wrong then what the hell would you do. You'd probably go on another crime spree and end up back in jail.

I wont be afraid because my God is a loving God and if you live your life according to his plan, you do not have to be afraid. I look forward to going to heaven and be with him. He is not a dictator,he gives us all a free will to live for him or against him. If you give against him, well that's your choice, but it only leads to hell.
