There is not one scripture in the Bible where Jesus Christ condemns homosexuals. Paul did, and other men, but not Jesus. Why? Because He accepts all people...Christians should live up to their name and think about what Jesus would really do...

whats "God" and "Jesus" have to say about wife beaters Steven?
all ive got to say about gay marriage is that its no one elses business but theirs just like straight marriage is no one elses business but theirs. how does a gay couple getting married have anything to do with you "getting into heaven" its not a sin on your part. im not really too sure its a sin on theirs but maybe thats cause i dont give a poo bout that. you do your thing and let them do theirs...

Judge, if you must, but gay people and straight people need one thing: love. If a man or woman finds that love in another person and he or she is the same sex, so be it, I cannot fathom God damning someone to hell over love.

And why you at it put your names up here instead of hiding be hind the sheet .if you don't believe in what your saying then don't speak , hiding just makes you a coward and your words fruit less. The country was not founded on christianity. Most of the founding fathers we're deists and a few of them outright hated christianity. Thomas Paine being one of the main ones who hated it.

Considering how many christians are shoving their beliefs into this subject it is entirely appropriate

Christians "shove" their beliefs, you "shove" yours, I "shove" mine...blah..blah..blah..that is always the excuse...but really, like I stated before, it should be based on human rights, not one's religious beliefs.

As to who is going to give first....ARE YOU NUTS??? WE, the American middle & lower class', have been doing ALL the giving....it's time we ended this idiotic unfettered capitalism in favor of some truly SOCIAL changes!! Ever since Ray-Gun, the industrial elite has turned from creating wealth on the labors of our unions & non-union workers to HARVESTING the wealth through shoddy & underhanded banking practices!. The right wing candidate for President made his fortune (which is considerable) by gutting our industrial base & destroying our manufacturing workers lively hoods.

I am in favor of dramatic social and political reform but ending American democracy and capitalism in general, I am opposed to. I agree, being a middle class American, that we have given, and given when we really didn't have anything sustantial to give, but I do love American democracy as it was intended to be. We should reform our government and make it the way it was before we allowed people like Obama, Clinton, etc., have freedom in our politics, but to end it completely, I say, "nay".

I do not wish to end capitalism...merely make it a fair & level playing field. & I never insinuated that we should end democracy in any form. I'm not sure what Clinton & company had to do with ending democracy??? The main culprits in this failing economy are your political/industrial elites loosening restriction & hoarding wealth. Mitt Romney is a prime example: He has spent his career gutting & dismantling our production base...& now he wants us to believe that his method of obtaining wealth will benefit average Americans!!??!!

Okay. Thank you for the clarification. Well, if we continue down this present path, I don't think any of us will be ending American capitalism or democracy; we'll be fighting to save it. Obama will be sure to end our present society/economy by claiming a socialistic form of government/economy will be the only way to save us...that it is the only way in our "new" economy. Honestly, I don't know if Romney will be any better, but maybe we could cut off his Presidential pay since he's already worth so much. hah
