GOD blew up the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because MOST of the inhabitants were homosexual. Also in Romans Chapter 1 this is said:
Romans 1:21-32
King James Version (KJV)
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Yet you Albino Genetically mutant, inferior Pink Africans insist on legalizing that which has been punishable by death for thousands of years in first world, civilized nonwhite countries. Satan is looking forward to your arrival at his motels!

President Obama has taken a fatal step backwards in Pied Pipering you all down the road to Hell!

This country was founded on the constitution. There is a clear separation of church and state. This is a civil rights issue and not a religious one. The government should not be denying civil rights, and religious institutions can still define marriage how they see fit.

God is L-O-V-E, not HATE. As compassionate Christian, I do not believe that Jesus would stand behind the hateful rhetoric. True Christians need to stand up to religious leaders that try to lead us down this shameful path. We need to be more compassionate and understanding people. We must rise up and say this isn't right when leaders try to convince us they give us special dispensation to spew hate or punch our children. We have let ministers twist the true meaning of being a Christian.

My family is deeply religious. We have always embraced my brother who is gay. I love my brother and I believe he deserves to have a happy life. I found the comment that started this thread to be hurtful and contrary to what it means to be loving Christian.

I hope we all don't have to hear this hateful rhetoric this Sunday at church. I agree that Christians need to stand up and walk out when ministers start talking about cracking the wrists of small children and giving them a good punch. It is insane for us as parents to by and let others tell us to not love our children regardless of their feminine or masculine tendencies. They are my children and I will always love and support them.

Apparently "Knowledge" decided to go off the reservation with his crazy improvisation of Romans 1:32.

I don't remember the bible talking about pink albinos, inferior Africans, or motels. You should tell your wife to keep you away from the computer when you are either on medication or drinking. If aren't on meds then maybe you should get some professional help and stop gracing us with your ignorant rambling.

Absolutely not. Its wrong!, wrong!, WRONG!. It's morally wrong. Man shall not lie with man. The more you liberals keep trying to get this nation to be a godless nation, the closer is comes to failing. Its time to open your eyes and look around. Stop this insanity now.

So let’s explore that reasoning that if something is “wrong” in the Bible, then we should use that to define the laws in our government. If you just consider the acts that are “wrong” in the bible related to the “sanctity of marriage”, then should we have criminal laws against pre-marital sex or adultery? Should we deny people the right to get a divorce, except for marital unfaithfulness? What if there is physical abuse? There are countries that do use religious text to define their laws. Under Islamic (Shiriah) Law, woman are buried up to their necks and stoned to death for adultery. Do we really want America, home of the free, to have civil laws defined by taking religious text literally? The Bible can define certain types of divorces as immoral, but I still think people should have the legal right to have one.

The whole argument that our laws should be defined based on what is right or wrong in the Bible is hypocritical. It is a hypocrisy that everyone in Dexter knows exists because over half of the town has either had premarital sex, committed adultery, or been divorced and remarried. If everyone is so hell bent on upholding what is right and wrong in the Bible, then they wouldn’t have committed premarital sex, adultery, an/or divorce and remarry. Instead, they ignore their own actions and spend too much time focusing on the actions of a minority group.

If people are going to make the claim, that we are a godless country based on the actions of a few homosexuals, then we must come to the realization that actions of the majority of heterosexuals already put us there.

Personally, I think we need to elevate the conversation.

if someone wants to get married, they should be allowed to get married. bottom line! who are we to deny someone the right to marry who they love? and if being gay or lesbian is a "birth defect" then why can people with
cerebral palsy, down syndrome, etc. get married? Comparing those with being gay is about as silly as trying to tell someone they cant get married because they dont love the right person! come on people!!!!!!!!!

Mark 7 says that there is nothing outside the man which can defile him if it goes into his body; but the things which proceed out of the man's heart are what defile the man.
So you spitting out judgement is what defiles you, not some dude taking some peen up his rear.
Marriage is a human right, not a heterosexual privilege. So leave gay people alone...they'd probably respect a marriage a lot more than most straight people since they have to fight for the right whereas everyone else takes it for granted and HALF of everyone who gets married gets divorced. and if you're such a bible thumper you should know that you can't wear mixed fabrics or eat shellfish and a bunch of other retarded sounding crap.
Sincerely,
a straight person. A sensible, objective, and tolerant straight person.

I personally dont buy into the whole gay by birth rhetoric. I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has been and always should be the union of a man and a woman. Homosexuality serves no purpose. Sexual intercourse at its base is for reproduction. If you wanna be gay go be gay but dont expect the same rights and privileges as normal people. Yes I do mean normal straight people.
