Obama-Marriage Debate - Cary, NC

I don't "support" gay marriage but I voted for Obama and I will vote for him again. I don't like how this question is framed. God isn't preventing people from being gay and getting married. So who do we think we are trying to force our will upon them? Jesus did not do this!

I support the marriage ammendent between a man and a woman.

It's honestly amazing that it has taken this long for a president to support gay marriage.

I voted against amendment one and I'll fight against inequality every day of my life.

Gays and Lesbians are still human beings with the same rights to life and happiness as the rest of the planet. We don't have to condone what they practice to support their rights to the same privileges that heterosexuals have.

Just last saw on the internet that a woman who had not found love married herself. Google it. Bizarre? Maybe. But she shouldn't be treated any less than the next person.

Where is the line to be drawn? I don't know. Is marriage to a turtle or a rock next? God created us and He will judge us. We don't need to be judges of the conscience of another mans.... or woman.
