It is against what the Bible says.

What the hell does it matter to anyone that isn't gay and isn't marrying the same sex? Seriously, if it doesn't affect you personally, why do you feel the need to give a f*ck and take away another person's happiness?

You know the bible says that gluttony is a sin too but you don't see people trying to pass laws against fast food restaurants and junk food--and I know a whole lot of fat preachers who preach on the 'sins of the flesh' who don't seem to realize that over eating is one of them! Why is it that sex specifically bothers so many people?

WHAT are you asking for? To have us to say it is okay? If you are already in a relationship, then why are you asking for Christians to give you a paper of approval? We cannot due to the Bible! If a Christian says its okay, then they are as guilty as the gay due to promotion. They are possible guilty for everyone they promote.

Okay, so why does that have to be such a big issue when there are plenty of "Christian" men/women who commit adultery, abuse their wives/husbands AND their children, and even have closet gay relationships with other men/women? And yes, believe it or not, there are plenty of "Christian" men/women who are closet gays. AND to add on to this, many "Christians" are very guilty of promoting such bullshit that goes against the bible. Why stop this? It's pretty damn sad and stupid that people like you can't give rights to another person because you claim it's against your beliefs. Marriage is defined as a close and intimate union. I have been married for a VERY long time and the paper I received means nothing to me. I could really care less about it. It is that commitment we made that matters.
That said, it is a double standard for Christians to say it is a sin, immoral, and cast out gays from their church when they sat beside people every Sunday who cheat on their spouses, have been married multiple times, lie, and glutten. It says in the Bible no sin is worse than the other, but we sure want it to be so. If we except the union of devorcies then why is a gay union so wrong? If I can welcome a liar into my church, why not a gay couple?
However, I do believe most of these gay couples just want to cause contraversy and get their names noticed for starting a cause. I have a gay cousin who has been with her partner for almost 20 years. That is longer than most marriages. She could care less about same sex marriage because they have THAT commitment. They have given each other power of attorney if something goes wrong with their health. So they feel they are already married. I do think it is sad that they are not welcome to church.....the official gathering place of sinners.

I strongly agree with you. Love is love. Yes, I'm more about rights and freedom, but what you said is perfect. Yes, many people want to start controversies and issues, but I guess we all do at times. After all, we're all human.

I agree with everything you said and that is why I still believe in God but do not believe in religion as it is practiced in today's society. Church has become a social gathering place for people to show off their latest fashions or newest automobile or in a few cases to actually meet others and start affairs. And they pick and choose which sinners they want to except and even get rid of preachers if they don't say exactly what they want to hear.

If two Men are in an argument one man says to you give me a gun i'm going to kill this Man you give him a gun and he kill's the Man are you less guilty then he is or are you just as guilty.
When you stand before God and you have voted for politicans who believe it's ok to kill Babies and two Men/Women can marry then you will be as guilty of that sin as they are.

The difference beteen people who commit adultry and the gays is the fact they dont advertise it and dont try to make the whole world agree with their sin.
