I understand about benefits like health insurance and all that. The only good thing that can come of this is, if they are faithfull in better or worse vows is they can't pass their genes down to future children. So in the future their will be less of them. You just may find it interesting if you go Wikipedia and read what it has about the religion Shakers.

I would like to apologize about the last part of my post. That was a hateful thing to say and think. I'm sure they are gay people who have hearts of gold and contribute to society. I personally do not think they should be legally able to marry. Call it something else. We Are living in a messed up world.

A new Quinnipiac poll finds that a plurality of Americans now support same sex marriage, 47-43. Particularly troublesome for the Republican Party is that the fastest growing groups of voters are the very ones most at odds with the traditional Right Wing anti-gay marriage rhetoric.
Young voters: 62-30. College educated whites: 59-32. White women: 50-40. Hispanics: 63-32. In other words, gay rights is increasingly popular among groups that Republicans simply must attract to win national elections.
I strongly suspect that a majority of Republicans will abandon their traditional denial of civil rights for same-sex couples by the next presidential election. If not, they will have even bigger problems than they did in the last election.
