In 2004 a Constitutional Amendment was passed in Georgia forbidding same sex marriage by limiting marriage in Georgia to the union of a man and a woman only.It carried massively! The vote in Georgia was 2,454,950 (76.2%) to 768,716 (23.8%).The vote in Fannin County was 8130 (85.87%) to 1338 (14.13%). Nuff said on the issue! Goodbye Lanius!

No, the slavery argument is very valid. It seems you get to pick and choose what to judge as for or against the bible based on the maturity of society? Doesn't that rule out every religious argument by default? I'm from here just like you are, I didn't realize altitude was supposed to have some affect on your logical disposition. I'm not some foreigner here picking on the mental midgets of the south, I'm homegrown fire.
You talk pro-equality out of one side of your mouth and claim the gays want some special privilege out of the other? It's about EQUAL rights here, and the kind that would NEVER affect YOU in any way. There is nothing sexual in nature about these rights, it's about a civil union and all of the benefits pertaining to that. You stray so far from the argument that you get confused by your own regurgitated banter. You are no more valid as a citizen than any gay person just because you read ONE book in your life.(If you even read it yourself.)
Because I have good points and valid arguments you say I'm full of "bull hockey" and that I'm somehow imposing my beliefs on you. YOU wanted to do this debate dance too, it's not my fault you wasted your life fighting logic at every turn and now you can't even handle normal healthy oppositional exchange.
Oh and Native Americans, they were fans of slavery too you know. We sold them black slaves, they were considered more equal than the Italians by comparison.

Right, so because something is POPULAR than it is right? Or does that only apply to issues that you agree with? That's very communist of you, there may be hope for you yet, old timer!

Haha, speaking of popular. Look at that poll, looks like the people of Blue Ridge were underestimated.

Frankly, you don't have the right or the brains to dictate our decisions as to positions on issues...especially the one relating to marriage. Um...hell-ooooooooo! Neither do you. Nice try, though!

I worry about so many. It breaks my heart that for many, it will be too late for them. We all will answer to God one day. This Country needs a lot of prayers. If people would only realize that hell is real, they would not do things that make God sick. If they would go burn themselves just a little and then ask themselves if they want to experience that all over themselves forever and it be much much worse, then so be it...

My generation believes that when God created man the anus was designed for defacation...not penetration. My generation also votes and we will not be voting for Obama. Speak for yourself. I am older than dirt and will vote for Obama. Look how long it took Mitt Romey to aggrevate the Brits ... one day. What anyone does with their orifices is their business, imo.
