Well of course it's wrong, but so is smoking dope, making meth, drinking and driving, and the list goes on and on.. I dont agree with it myself the same sex couple together. But it's not my place to judge them for what they do or how someone choses to live there life. I will still respect them, and treat them the way i would want to be treated as a human being. I believe thats what God would want us to do.

Whoa! Comparing gay marriage to drunk driving and making meth is a false equivalency! If you would have simply made the comparison between gay marriage and smoking pot I probably would have accepted that analogy, but drunk driving obviously endangers other people and making meth implies it will be sold to those using meth.

Well just Saying, Sorry you dont accept my analogy.I i guess we can look at this several different ways if we wanted to. I was not trying to compare gay marriages with drinking, and driving and making meth. I was stating these are all wrong, and yes i know drinking, and driving also making meth can endangers others, im not stupid!!!!

I knew Obama was supported by unions. Know he is supported by queers. I think the unions and the queers should get together and have an orgy. “Union Pride” “Gay Pride” Two peas in a pod. With the unions support gay marrage I sure it will become law.

Homophobia is just another form of racism. Judge ye not lest ye be judged. Its not my lifestyle, but there are many gays that are more righteous than heterosexuals. God loving people. People are just that...people. If everyone would take the bible and read it in its context, they would figure out that the verses they pull out to use for hate ammunition don't hold up to the whole concept of what the Word teaches..to love one another and do unto others as you would have done to you. No one is free from sin, so does no one enter heaven? Think about it..

The definition of marriage is the joining of two entities, whether it is two humans or two chemical substances. A marriage document is just that...a document..a piece of paper, something we created and put into law and made it a legal document. God doesn't make legal documents. We as humans created that. We also sold slaves to one another and felt that was ok (though those with a conscience knew it wasn't right) and so many other mistakes which we finally realized. Its time to realize this mistake.

Tell me my divorce doesn't destroy God's plan for marriage then I will vote against gay marriage.

That's why churches should NOT be forced to perform gay marriages. But marriage is a secular matter and religious views should have no place in determining if gay marriage is legal. It's fine that most churches won't recognize gay marriage, and they should not have to, but whether two same-sex adults can legally marry is up to the states to decide, not the churches. Apparently the legal landscape is so confusing (with one state refusing to recognize the rights conferred by another state) that the Supreme Court will finally settle the matter. Should be interesting!
