Not the way God intended for marriage to be! He made Adam then God form a woman from Adam. Can two women have a child or can two men have a child.? How can the earth be multiply with people this way? If you were two women you would hae to borrow from a man to make a child and if you were two men you would have to borrow from a woman to make a child. It is just not meant to be this kind of life style.

Get with the times lady. Love is love. People are going to continue to multiply weather it be with a man/ or a women/women. It's become a part of life and should start to accept it. Your only be belligerent due to your ignorance. If god didn't want homosexuals in the world he would have allowed it. Please think before you speak.

The topix question was do you support obama's decsion on his support of the gay community as far as marriage. God didn't intend for people to get married and DIVORCE , nor do I think God intended for a man to beat a woman either , nor did God intend for all the drug heads , starving kids , beatn raped etc ,,, so before u go bashing weed your own yard out , how are you personally effected if 2 men or 2 women are allowed to marry ,it changes nothing for you , but it does for them , regardless if you agree or dont' there are gay couples out there that have been a couple for 20+years and deserve the same rights as heterosexual couples ,love is love no matter if you agree or not , wake up

First of all let me explain myself. I did not mean to start a topix on this subject. I was voting against gay marriage and it wanted me to give a reason that I was voting this way. Next thing I knew this subject was started. I don't respond to any of topix even if it is about my family. I will confess that I have read it a lot lately to see opinions of what people are saying about my family. I know gay people who show more kindness to others that straight people do. I will be the first to tell you that I am not perfect but I am striving to be a better person. I believe this topix site should be band from the internet. It is only used to hurt other people behind a fake name. I want to make it to Heaven when I leave this earth. I believe that we have to live and work together to help other make it to Heaven. I am not put on this earth to be your judge nor do I want to be. But I believe that I have the right to voice my opinion as well as you have the right to voice your opinion but I have to do it with love and well as I have to love others. I hope that people love me too!
My family have had a lot of judgement lately and I know how that feels but I have to love them too. Jesus died for all not just a few select group.

Yes I suppot Pre Obama's decision . As far as the rights of Gay's has nothing to do with religion you have the right to belive whatever you choose to believe in ,whether you Christian , catholic , methodist jewdism, hinduism , muslim , GOD has many faces with many Names, as far as children goes there are 1000's of children thrown to the way side by breeders that need stable loveing homes and don't even say that gays aren't capable of giving that to them.I got to agree with MKA how does gay marriage effect the heterosexual lifestyle?????????? whom i choose to marry live with etc whether it be a strt or gay lifestyle is no concern to anyone other than my partner and myself

Let the alternative life style people have a civil union with the same rights as a married couple. I disagree with it being called a marriage. We could do away with the term marriage. Just call all unions civil ones.

I just think that we live in a country that stands firmly on the foundations, "Justice and Equality" for all. Equality for straight people, gay people, transgender people, RED YELLOW BLACK and WHITE people! Everyone has the right to marry the person that they love, if that is what they want to do. I know Brenda and she is a kind woman. She is entitled to her opinion, everyone is and that is why we get to vote. But I will stand behind equal rights for everyone, everywhere. It is only right.
