Gay people can do whatever they want as far as I'm concerned, but they can't redefine marriage. It is what it is and it's not two people of the same sex joining their lives together. Besides that, the whole thing is not about gay people getting married. It's really about what legalizing "gay marriage" leads to, for example, the demand to have the gay lifestyle taught as exactly the same as or superior to, real marriage from grade school or before on. It's about special privileges being given to gays above non-gays.

It is NOT about giving gays special privileges; it's about giving them the same. Homosexuality would not be taught as "superior" but would be taught as equal, which it deserves to be. When black people were given equal rights, was it then taught to be superior to be black?

Black people were born black people which they deserve all rights.Homosexuals choose to be homosexuals. They have the same rights as everybody else but CHOOSE not to use them! They want special rights.

Here you go again...the same pathetic sad little line as always. Is that all you can really say or is that because you were/are so sheltered that you don't know any different? Do some research before you make an even bigger fool of yourself. Why do you say that we (homosexuals) want special rights? Because we want our lifelong spouse to be recognized as our "next of kin", because we want to have our spouse/family recognized on our medical insurance? Why do you refer to these things as "special rights"? Black people were born black, white people were born white, but not of us chose to be born into it. Some people aren't happy being the race that they were born, but they have to live with it. Just because you may not be gay, doesn't mean you were born "straight". When every child is born, they are born not knowing anything except what they are taught. For all you know, your first kiss could have been someone of the same sex when you were just a toddler and your caretaker probably threw a fit about it and lectured you how wrong you were for doing that...and to this day that's all you know because that's what you were taught.
