White Bangor, ME	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Mar 4, 2012 once a plant goes on-line the area is never safe or useable again. lived 1/4 mile from the closed Shoreham NY plant, the marsh land never was the same after is operated at 5% power before being closed. the beach was never the same.
