Now how do you think we will become independ of foreign oil--impossible. We could not get enough oil wells dug nor natural gas wells to replace the ones going dry or near dry. We are still dependent on foreign oil for fuel to transport us and wfood and other supplies, and materials. And as for green energy there will be more countries competing to buy the same energy generating plants such as solar and wind generators. And guess where the solar and wind generating plants manufactured and coming from---China, the reason, we stood by and let the wealthy the corporations and the privleged offshore our jobs and manufacturing plants and you and I the tax payers are even paying those offshoring our manufacturing base to get rich off of our tax dolars. Wee lost over 6 million jobsd and over 40 thousand industrial plants top off shoring while G.S Buah was in office during his 8 years. And we are stilll losing thsoe type jobs and plants. and the jobs that go off shore with those plants. That is the main reason we are losing our tax base and our middle class.

Jim bo just how do you determine safe? not even crossing the street is safe. Hve you discovered a new source of nuclear energy and a better way to built a safer none explovive nuclear generator? there is none. The emergency shut of vavle that failed in the BP oil platform and took it tio the bottom was also supposed to be declared a safe device--it was not.

Creates waste that lasts virtually forever. US Government has shelved Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository but continues to push for more nuclear power plants. Current plants are storing waste on site, this is a very dangerous situation. Think about Japan.

Don't think about Japan, they use an older model of nuclear plants THAT ARE NOTHING LIKE THE NEW PLANTS. So only think of Japan if you are ignorant about nuclear plants and think that they have the modern plants. We use new plants, and what happend in Japan could never happen with the U.S. if we use the new plants

Ok, the modern nuclear power plants are FAR MORE SAFER than mining for coal or transporting coal.

The fact is we are now importing only about 49 percent from off shore sources of oil. We are also running our refineries at about 85 percent or so. And also shipping finished refined oil prof[ducts off shore to other countries. The pipeline coming from Canada (keystone XL pipe line will bring oil into our country but it will be off shored in a finshed products., diesel andgasoline. Slate. And in fact our nation will never be free from oil imports form other countries. here is a fact--the the idea of opec orginated in TEXAS from the Texas Rail Road Commission of the use of controling the oil out put in the state of texas.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
