Nuclear is by far the cheapest per KWh produced and has far less pollutants.

Not so long ago, on another discussion board, the topic of how to deal with an serious accident at a nuclear plant came up. One option I thought of....why not drop a nuclear weapon on the mess? All things considered with the problems at the Japanese nuclear plant, this might not be such a bad or unrealistic idea.

Nuclear power for me !! Cleaner, greener and safer. I don't want a mess of cold dust or oil fumes. We have to get less dependent on oil and coal. Wind and solar is not a good option in this region of the country. Not enough water flowing to consider a large hydro plant. So best option is nuclear.

Is Duke Power really prepared for everything that might go wrong at a nuclear power plant?

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aquarius

Someone is confused and muddled today, making it difficult to talk for long without becoming equally bemused. Avoid making decisions or researching important information, because there's a strong possibility of getting crossed wires, or talking at cross purposes. A memory may also be distorted now, leading to mix-ups or bewilderment.
