People are too stupid or too lazy to do their homework, they are letting CNN and FOX news tell them how to think. Don't believe me? How did a Republican get more votes than Burks when he wasn't even supported by the State Republican party and no one even knew the guy?

They voted for the party and not the man,and we know this because he did not promote himself, did not speak to any groups, had no support leading into the election, and did not convey any real message that warranted a vote...so we should all be thankful that Burks had name reconginition on her side, otherwise we would have a Bozo the Clown look-a-like for our State Senator!

Everyone that voted for the Republican candidates just because they had an "R" beside their name...shame on you! Your laziness and misperceptions are what is killing our country.

I felt hope with Obama. I feel that the public has screwed themselves. How could they vote for people who are not for the people but are for the corporations that go to other countries for workers. It won't create jobs for us. The corporations are sucking the country dry and the people just gave them more means to do it. I feel like we deserve what we get. We had a man who was trying to get it right and they couldn't see it for they are jaded by all the conning and greed that they see and they think that is how it is and how it should be. Where is the Jesus in Christianity? Where is right over might? Do we really want to be a bad ass country? US of A is becoming a dumping ground. We are all fat and on drugs. We are too stupified to see the shit hitting the fan. The GOP had no platform -no plan of action except to pad the pockets of the rich and they told us such and they still voted for them Unbelievable!!! Obama staved off a depression. He might could have done more in two years but with all the opposition he got- I think he did terrific. And Pelosi should be hailed as a role model not ridiculed. And, she has such character to keep on trucking. For she knows why they wanted her out, because she did her job superbly! Democrats have always straightened out the mess that the Republicans made. Read your history!

Might Burks be in a little trouble for violating some election day rules? Just heard she visited two polling places on election day ---a no-no which she claims she was not aware of. Politicians sound so clueless when they get caught at something they shouldn't be doing. Gotta love 'em.

Be very careful when handling financial matters today because not everything is as straightforward as it seems. For instance, someone may tell you about a fail-safe way of making money but neglect to mention all the reasons why it's totally illegal. There could also be mistakes if you're spending money, such as being short-changed or overcharged. So watch out!
