It is a waste of tax dollars putting people in prison for pot while millions of Americans get legally falling down drunk. And all that that cost.To put some 25ish year old in jail seems a little silly, and waste any potential that person may have had.

Legal or illegal marijuana is going to stay. Why not legalise it so mafia/corrupt officials are out and and can make no black money and use it for more illegal drugs/activities.

marijuana has never killed someone in the entire recorded history of humanity, yet we as a country allow very addictive and harmful drugs to be sold both as medicinal and recreational use that i myself have been addicted to, it would help the economy and its just the right thing to do.

Maybe you should smoke a little weed and you would not get your panties in such a wad that you lose your ability to spell. Not to mention that you are wasting your time talking about something you obviously no absolutely nothing about.

But it would appear that you cant aruge my points about asking government to change to laws and people throwing away their lives so sure, pick on my spelling. Long and short, its illegal. If it wasnt, then have at. It would be a bad choice just like alcohol and tobacco. Anything else??

Yes I have argued with the government via peaceful protest in my youth that they were continually persecuting people for breaking laws that were based on unproven "facts". I am 45 years old and successful in my business. I still smoke and have not moved on to other drugs, neither have the vast majority of my acquaintances that are in the same boat. Your last line in your comment is the crux of mine and most everyone’s point on this side of the commentary here. You consider it a bad choice, but that is just it. It is a choice or at least should be just that. A choice.

Now see that was well written and reasonable! You bring up good points, my only argument is about choices. Murder is a choice, so is rape. Bad choices. Is pot the same? No. Has the govt said those things are illegal? Of course. Has pot ever hurt anyone? Sure has, same as alcohol and tobacco. If the govt legalizes pot, go for it! It's your business, but I just can't support illegal activities.

Please wait...
Please legalize it, I am tired of having to smoke out in the woods instead of on my porch on my property.

IMO, it is no more dangerous than alcohol, and from my limited exposure and experience it does not seem to have as many side effects as cigarettes. Also, it's good for tax revenue and it will decrease the number of drug cases in the criminal justice system, thereby decreasing the amount of time and money spent prosecuting Marijuana cases.
