The monetary benefits to the town through the legalization would be tremendous. You can have the additional conditions of signing up for the dispensary to know whether or not you have payed all your bills and your kids are tended too first before they sell it to the individual to ensure that those that earn the right have.

Yes, imagine the amount of money the government could be making off the taxs from weed alone!! This country wouldn't have to worry about any debt. In the first year of legal marijuana, California made quite a bit. Make it legal!

I think that marijuana should be legalized. Studies have shown that it can be useful in the treatment of ailments. A Swedish study found that suffers of alzhiemers slowed the progression through imbibing it. Glaucoma as well can be controlled through its use. How many people have died from imbibing it? I'll wait.
The monetary gain that will be gained IF the government was to become the 'dealer' is tremendous. How many millions has the state of California garnered since the medical marijuana laws have been enacted?
From the law enforcement standpoint you can keep the current laws with the exception of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. The rest you can keep on the books. The 'dealers' can be state appointed and a requirement to purchase it will be the enrollment in a system that will track whether or not you have paid your bills on time or not or if child services, for those with kids, have been called to your residence. If you meet the requirements then the system will display a green flag for yes or a red flag for no.
gonna do it

What in the hell does it matter if you pay your bills on time?, or if you meet your other stipulations of child welfare? You don't have to meet those equirements to purchase tobacco, alcohol, or a firearm. To say that you must meet theses restrictions implies that incompetant people should not be able to use dope. that i think strengthens my position that it should remain illegal. thanks for making my point.

What you just said makes no sense whatsoever: weed should not be legalized unless "incompetant" people are allowed to partake?

Marijuana makes you stupid, lazy and unproductive. There is no doubt that it helps people who need it for legitimate medical purposes but that does not mean everyone should use. They call it DOPE for a reason.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Virgo

Keep a pinch of salt handy today because not everything you hear will be the gospel truth. Someone might have manipulated the facts to make them sound more acceptable, or they may have got carried away and forgotten to tell you something rather vital. Try to keep misunderstandings to a minimum by being as straightforward and honest as possible, and by not simply assuming that people know what you're talking about and therefore not bothering to explain properly.
