Government control in the US could eliminate some of the "border" crimes and drug lords. Let all users register and show proof of identity when they buy. Limits may be set on how much and how often this drug could be purchased. Help eliminate crime.

i think it should be. some people out here use it for medical reasons some use it for fun. let them do them no one is getting hurt so i see no need for anyone to go to jail behind it.

Sales tax on Dobbie smokes could wipe out this country's debt, within 10 years. And it is an herb, grown from the earth.

Scientifically: Marijuana has been proven to reduce or stunt the growth of cancer, is a great pain reliever, and has less side effects than your average prescription drugs.
Personal Experience: People get along better while using marijuana. It helps relax a person after a long hard stressful day. It helps with boredom and increases the ability to be easily amused. And again, it's a great pain reliever... even for those headaches stupid people give you!
I question why marijuana was illegal to begin with. It originally started off as a spiritual thing. And I can vouch it still is!

Why isn't it legal? Whats the big deal. Look how much money has been made off the stuff. Yes people are much easier to deal with, life is good, and what better way to relax, as you say....maybe the govt is afarid that a drug company will harvest it all for their own profit? hummm make it LEGAL

I think that alcahol is far worst than refer. I've been smoking it for 35 years and I'm still able to work or do what ever I feel like doing. As a matter of fact, I work better when I've smoked a good joint!

AHH do I agree..I have smoked since my early 20's. I raised a family, held good jobes, paid my bills, was an outstanding citizen in my community..but at night, I enjoyed relaxing with a nice fat one.. it was relaxing, peaceful experience. I had stomach problems and had a hard time eating or holding down food, smoking one, gave the appactite to eat LOL Yes let the govt controll it, collect taxes off it and regulate how much is for "personal use" and this country would be out of debt and people would get along, crime would stop well somewhat...but i believe its a good thing..More power to the smokers!!

I think that if they legalize it that the state would have more money. Money wouldnt be wasted on locking people up for marijuana. What causes more problems alcohol or marijuana?

It is a great antidepresant, alcohol is a depressant. If Marijuana was controlled it would work..It would g et the cartel off our borders and might help our debt problem. Three quaters of the population is sneaking around and buying pot and we do not know where i comes from ,some is stronger than oters. We need controlled mmaeijana and there woild be less crime and depression..

I'm all for it. The only thing that has been linked to it's use is short term memory loss (while the person is high). It is no more harmful than smoking and drinking. If they want to keep it illegal they should also make tabacco and alchol illegal. I am not a pot smoker nor will I ever be. I am looking at the picture from a whole perspective and not just my own personal case.

Legalize it. The money and time and bs arrests from someone who had a couple grams on them is a waste of taxpayers money. Focus on meth, coke, heroin, and all the pills around there. It's a shame..
