there's no reason why you can go home get stoned and then get up the next morning and go to work w/ no hangover, but it's ok to go work w/ a terrible hangover and w/ no productivity.

it's better than alchol and it will get people off of harder drugs that make it easier to get out of your system.

people getting addicted to pain pills is becoming a big problem. Pills are so much worse for you than the smoking of a plant that is proven to be safe. you CAN NOT overdose on THC, and it isnt like you become a lunatic..it calms you down and makes you relax, not to mention all the wasted time of law enforcement focussing on people smoking a plant when there are murderers, rapists, and thieves they should be going after. also alcohol is legal? alcohol makes you stupid, ignorant and act like a fool. Marijuana doesnt change your behavior like that.

What it be a cure for Jaaaaa living off the government maaallllll? you have no idea what you are talking about. i am a productive member of society (job, bills, vehicle, insurance) you name it bud work my ass off to pay for it. i know what you mean about people who dont work, i see it all the time and it makes me SICK to see that when i know thats where my paycheck is going. to feed some sorry idiot who doesnt want to work. so i feel ya on that note. however..its not right of you to generalize smokers that way. i work. make decent money for my age, have a loving family, and you would be surprised as to who smokes weed that you associate with. its a natural plant, you cant overdose on thc, and its a natural cure for pain. i have no idea if you have children or not, but if you did, and they got into an accident and were in serious pain, would you rather them pop Oxycontin or Hydrocodones (pain pills) that could lead to addiction and being strung out? or simply smoke the buds from a natural plant that will give them the same relief with no harm? just something to think about there

I do not smoke it but feel that it should be legal for any adult that wants it.

i think marijuana should be legal because it would mean less people in prison there for taxes would go down

It's one of the oldest natural drugs out there. I personally do not consume it but, I believe it should be available at least "medically."

Those who believe cannabis to be a gateway to opioids and other highly dangerous drugs fail to appreciate that the illegal purchase of marijuana exposes consumers to dealers who push the hard stuff. Given marijuana's popularity in this country, the consumption of more dangerous drugs could actually decrease if pot were purchased at a liquor store rather than on the street corner where heroin and crack are sold.

Why make good citizens into criminals and allow a black market that pushes hard drugs to kids, when you could just legalize it like alcohol, get rid of the black market, keep it from children under 18 or 21 whatever, save money trying to stop something that is impossible to stop, allow cops to focus on real crimes, and make tax money??

I would rather smoke a joint than drink a Coke if the concern is my health. GMOs are FAR worse than a plant.
