Dude, your dope smoking has seriously effected your perception of reality. Also, you do know that Five-O can trace your posts here right back to your IP address, right? Only takes a phone call. Even if Josh Stuart isn't your real name, you are admitting to criminal activity. Probably a bad idea.

$113 billion is spent on marijuana every year in the U.S. and because of the prohibition *all* of it goes straight into the hands of criminals. According to the ONDCP, two-thirds of the Mexican drug cartel's money comes from selling marijuana in the U.S., and they protect this cash flow by brutally torturing, murdering and dismembering thousands of innocent people.

Instead of preventing people from smoking, the prohibition creates zero legal supply amid massive and unrelenting demand - this is where the cartels get the incentive and ability to pay their hitmen.

If we can STOP people using marijuana then we need to do so now, but if we can't then we need to legalize the production and sale of marijuana to adults with after-tax prices set too low for the cartels to match.

One way or the other we have to force the cartels out of the marijuana market and eliminate two-thirds of their income - no business can withstand that!

Wow, Nothing is simple, that's way too philosophical and intelligent for this crew. Remember no matter how valid your facts are, it is still pointless to argue with a drunk or a druggie. I don't have time for it, and I'm sure you have better things to do.
Then get off the computer!

This is great. Job security for DPS. All these pot heads in Sikeston makes for an endless supply of work. You know what work is, right? That what the rest of us do while you lay around the house smoking dope, between trips to your probation officer and the welfare office.

What a bunch of losers.

Marijuana is less dangerous and more useful than narcotic (legal) prescription pills. No one can overdose on Marijuana, it has never happened. Yet thousands of people die each year from accidental and purpose narcotic overdoses.

Yeah, cause when you're high the first thing on your mind is being responsible. It's all excuses so that people with nothing better to do can get high legally. Please, don't give me that medically imperative bullshi* either. If it was really that beneficial they would have found a way to create the same benefits in a lab and sell it in pill form. You can make anything SEEM good for you if you really want.
They did do that actually, which shows how hypocritical it is, to say that it has no medical value. They've made synthetic THC " in a pill" They use it for aid's patients mostly. Marijuana is listed as a class schedule 1 drug which means it has no medical value. But obviously it does they just needed to modify it so they could patent it to make money! Know your facts before you say stupid stuff!

Absolutely, only kidding. There are no drug taskforces whose job it is to use an open source like Topix and tip lines to track down users which leads to suppliers.

Here we are with another person who has been living under a rock. Our kids are already exposed to it and have been for decades. Unfortunately, they are exposed to it through the criminal element. The stuff is unregulated, you don't know what you're actually getting, and the price has exponentially increased over the past 40 years.

It cost on average $40000 a year to house a prisoner in the state of Missouri. There is so much more money to be made by the state to keep pot illegal. They are so addicted to wasteful spending of the tax payers. It is a waste of time and money to lock up people based on their habits. Then again enforcing moral law enforcement and judical system is all these small towns have.
I hate the thought that I have to pay for a pot head to be housed, fed, educated, and given medical care in prison. Along with all the other petty criminals. Make their asses work. One thing we are good at in this country is locking up people in prison. Another plus for a nationwide legalization is that it would help stop this immigration and mexico drug lord problem.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Sagittarius

You're wearing rose-tinted glasses today, especially when you look at some of the special people in your life. Right now you only want to see their good points and you'll deliberately turn a blind eye to any faults that might be on show. If you can escape from the real world for a day with you-know-who you'll have a marvelously romantic and emotional time together. But do your best to come back to earth tomorrow.
