While I can see both sides of the coin on this issue, I do like the idea of weed being regulated and taxed by gov't because that would be a huge tax base.....huge!

America is still a very puritanical country and I don't see our gov't even legalizing weed. Ever.

ah pete they will legalize pot in cantaffordya ,how will those columbian and mexican drug cartels ever bank on all that new territory?
plus that half of california is already here anyways the whole southwest is already mexico, and i'm pretty sure californians can bully washington into the same progressive police state
and as far as maryjane goes ,shes a sacred plant and she only brings out whatever issues you got stashed away in your attics or basements as it were and so far it seems more like green crack than anything positive, the again its all about the user and it is better than all this prozac, ritalin etc.so yet another dividing factor for america to deal with as if there is not enough

well since californians invented pot and they smoke the most lets see what kind of progress weed can do for your state, now wait a minute there seems to be a lot of californians fleeing their own state now it seems the mexicans need new drug territory , the columbians too -now that is progress and we all know how progressive mexico is

its pretty much a done deal ,the percentage of "washington "voters is now fleeing californians so now the same slow process begins in washington state (another gang infested, trash ridden, minority racist police state) yah for progress it didn't work in mexico,it didn't work in california and it won't work in washington woo hoo where do they go to escape their stupidity???ahhhh DENIAL its whats happening

Yes and tax the crap out of it! I'm not a user but have no problem adding it to the list of regulated drugs and alcohol. Same rules, same results...

Its going to happen either way people look at it, might as well get behind it, as long as they are not suppose to legally drive or operate machinery. its better to go with it then fight against it, it happens either way, and will continue to.

See, that the wrong way to look at it!!!! Billions upon billions of dollars will be saved fighting the war against weed. Billions of dollars can be made off taxing the product. So it's a double edged gain.

Use the tax money to put back into the social security coffers.

Let the gov't grow it, disribute it and sell it.

yes thats why california is trying so hard to get some of that weed money but as usual in all their denial they fail to see that inviting columbian and mexican drug cartels to expand their territory to the whole southwest this is yet another california contradiction

hmmm seattle next for the failed progressive liberal agenda, already being infiltrated by californians who really think they're doing something successful, when they can't even stand to live in their own state? talk about refried brains me thinks the sun and all the green crack fried their brains-after all california is the original cereal bowl!! and they have that wall of garbage to show that their people per capita produce more garbage then any other in america, you can look at the streets and see thats true

I want legal mary jane for one reason and that is Hemp!
If pot was legal then hemp better be.
I think hemp is the reason it was made illegal in the first place.
It is a wonder plant and could earn us a lot of revenue.
People are gonna smoke pot,
they always have,
so make lets it legal and get a few bucks tax for it ...
