Three generations of people with no more common sense than to put a rookie Senator in the White House. They believed he was a Christian, inspite of his name Barack Obama. Nobody still knows where he was born even though it clearly states that the Commander in Cheif must be born to the U.S. All fed by a media crazed on reverse racism. If our judgement can be so easily misled, that last thing you want is to introduce marijuana to this scenario. Listen to your God given common sense, straighten the school system, then, possibly we could revisit marijuana laws. Now, is not the time.

http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php...

Since October of 2000, all drugs in Portugal have been legal.

"Individuals caught with drugs in Portugal are no longer arrested or treated as criminals. Instead, they are sent to a tribunal of health professionals, where they are offered the opportunity, but are not compelled, to seek government-provided treatment."

Crime, drug use, and drug addiction have gone down. HIV transmission has gone down.

Yet, they still move here.

I don't get what is so wrong with it. People legalized cigarettes and alchohaul which is 10 times worse than marajuana. All it does is get you a little loopy for a little bit. BIG DEAL! Alchohaul and cigarettes can kill you, get you seriously addicted, and can make you pass out.

Or maybe we could legalize after school.

To be honest, I didn't start smoking until after my high school years - I've been smoking for three years now. It has been very regular, sometimes varied depending on money issues, finding it, etc. I'd go from smoking once a week to smoking once a day, taking breaks to reduce tolerance. I mainly smoke blunts, which is tobacco as well. I smoke a cig occasionally. Here are all the effects/affects I've had and can honestly with no bias, weed has done to me.

1. It does reduce my ability to recognize CERTAIN things and remember them minutes/hour later, i.e short term memory loss, while under the influence. I have really only had this problem while COMPLETELY influenced(wicked high) and to be honest, it wasn't that impairing. In my case atleast, the only real impairment is in mathemathics. For some reason I can grasp concepts easier while influenced - I can think outside of the box. I'm pretty sure there is research supporting the idea that marijuana helps scientific study and theory. Or maybe it's just from the buzz and my human nature of curiousity.

2. Red eyes,
3. Euphoria,
4. Social dissapproval(based on opinion)
5. Wrongful criminal depiction because of old, bias views
6. Forgetfulness - this does play over into my sober life. I AM a forgetful person though, I can have anyone vouch that it isn't because of marijuana. Although it make contribute. I smoke a lot though.
7. Increases Appetite,
8.'Heightened' senses, or atleast the sensing of old senses differently. idk how to explain it other than that. Basically everything seems new again.
9. It does get hard to breath, but I've had asthma and been around cigarette smokers my entire life. I smoke cigs sometimes, prolly a pack/2months. I smoke blunts aswell.
10. I gotta go but I'll post more in a bit.

Putting peaceful people in prison is just wrong. If they're not hurting anyone else, why are cops going after them? Waste of tax money if you ask me.

Cannabis is a medicine, not a "drug". MAN makes drugs, nature makes medicines. Cannabis = 0 Deaths. None. Nada. Nil. Zilch. Cannabis...safer than PEOPLE. No deaths. Safest vice/crutch in the world. Safer than advil. Safer than coffee. Safer than....peanuts. Cannabinoids also cure metastasizing cancer. Proven, factual. Cannabis/Hemp is actually the greatest plant known to man, at least on land. Natural, non-toxic, non-lethal, renewable, sustainable. Paper, fiber, food, fuel, medicine, paper, houses, heat, energy, clothing. Everything. Hemp seed provides humans with the HIGHEST available level of usable protein, even more than the mighty soybean. Anyone who ban nature is paranoid, non-intellectual, and usually LYING and/or trying to sell you something man-made (and LETHAL). The first thing you can do about your drug problem is to better educate your youth, don't LIE TO THEM, and educate them on which of the vices are LETHAL and which are NON-LETHAL. At a young age, the mind is less....poisoned, and more likely to still be humane, so their choice, if educated properly. would more than likely be the one that won't KILL their family and friends. And, um, cannabis isn't killing our family and friends. It never will. We, humans, have a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant. Anyone who says different is simply disconnected from their very nature.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
