I've smoked pot for 48 years now. spent 7 years in the army, retired as an electrician/electronic tech in the auto industry(robotics) never busted, had cancer twice, got my card twice.RAISED 3 KIDS. the last 3 presidents smoked pot.and so far in this forum i've found opponents to pot ignore the obvious, repeatING 70+ years of government bigoted lies. RACISM started it all.((reefer madness and the evil weed)) hyperbole has been past down for generations. if you visit other citys on this topic you will find that most(and i say most) opponents are absolute bigots. when you disagree with them and and lead them web sites to show that their wrong, Well you know the rest.

Of all the drugs out there, marijuana is one of the most harmless. It doesn't have any nasty or long-term side effects like tobacco, meth, crack, ecstasy, acid, or any prescription medications.
Personally, I don't smoke pot, but I have absolutely no issue with folks who do. Legalizing marijuana would keep otherwise totally good, innocent people out of prison. I love how weed is considered by many to be evil, but smoking is okey-dokey. News flash, folks: marijuana does not cause lung cancer. So tell me why cigarettes are okay and weed isn't.

someone please show me where it was ever written in the papers.....something in the effect of......"so & so of 123 main st., yourtown was CONVICTED of vehicular manslaughter for killing a family of 5 while under the influence of marijuana" or something similar,
I ALWAYS read of that crap happening with alcohol or pills or other drugs. I think alcohol should be banned and pot should be legal.
Time to burn...

In a 2010 report by the Common Sense for Drug Policy Organization, the American annual causes of death were classified under the following categories:
Tobacco Related 430,700 Alcohol Related 110,640 Prescription Drugs 32,000 Suicide 30,575 Homicide 18,272 Drug Induced Deaths 16,926 NSAID’s (such as Aspirin) 7,600 Marijuana 0 deaths
Before you start to wonder about the veracity of the figures above, you should be aware that no one has ever been officially declared dead from direct or indirect marijuana consumption.
