Taxing it should not be the sole reason for voting yes - Alchohol causes our society many problems that MJ doesnt. It is safer and much less damaging than alchohol. You can talk all you want about the taxes, we're just gonna grow our own anyway so there won't be all that much tax revenue!

As far as 'drugs' go, weed is far less harmful to the human body, if you don't account for mans infinite ability to do stupid things.

By legalizing it, our gov't could better control trafficing and create a taxable crop. With regulation and taxation comes jobs, which California is in desperate need of.

Remember that alcohal was once illegal.

Why do we need to legalize marijuana? Just because a bunch of people smoke it? Then why not legalized cocaine and methamphetamine?
