pot doesn't fry your brain, and "snow hill local" your actually wrong, marijuana is the highest profit earning drug in the world. check your facts. i smoke weed every day. and still live a very productive life.. i spend time with my family, friends, have a healthy relationship with a girl i love.. work 40+ hours a week of actual sweaty labor.. weed isn't a big deal.. i mean look at that diagram of the US right there its literally COVERED in people that agree with me people are finally starting to realize pot isn't dangerous, its less lethal than alcohol.. there hasn't been even one reported death due to use of marijuana in any way. FACT. and don't even get me started on what it could do for the economy if it became legal..i honestly don't care if it gets legalized either way.. with medical marijuana growing and getting bigger.. ill probably have a card that says i can smoke legally in 5 years.. haha close minded people..

actually there are cases where pot was the secondary cause of death. not a whole lot to be alarmed at, granted.

"There is ongoing controversy concerning the long-term effects of cannabis on the brain," write the researchers. "Although modest use may not lead to significant neurotoxic effects, these results suggest that heavy daily use might indeed be toxic to human brain tissue."

This debate will continue until it is finally legalized, which probably will occur sometime in the near future.

One interesting thing I noticed while looking up the effects of drugs is that there are over 2200 deaths associated with Viagra.

Wonder if thats from the pill itself or heart attacks after ingesting it. lol

We're tired of being lied to by our government about how dangerous this plant is. We're not 8 years old. It is not a drug, it's a friggin weed which left alone would grow wild. To classify someone as a criminal for possession of this weed is, well CRIMINAL. We really are owned by our government, not the other way around.

An untapped source of tax revenue, a huge change for the better in court system, prisons and law enforcement, a move out of the Black Market into the regulated market, in keeping with public sentiment -- need I go on?

One of the biggest government lies is that pot kills brain cells. This not true, dozens of medical studies have concluded that marijuana does not kill brain cells at any rate. The only reason people believe they do, is from a study back in the 50's where they were literately suffocating monkeys with marijuana smoke. The brain damage was caused by suffocation and not due to the marijuana itself.

why not? cigarettes and alcohol are legal as well as RX pills. bet you've never heard of ANYONE dying from lung cancer due to extensive marijuana use, or perhaps even emphysema. nobody has ever died from an overdose of THC.

[QUOTE who="Alcohol (to excess) and pot both impair judgment immediately. I fail to see how pot is less evil in that regard.[/QUOTE]

I don't recall the last time I read a news story of someone getting stoned and going home to beat their wife/kid/dog.

The very ideal is troubling ,if there is a way to grow ,use, and sell they will. some people fake illness in such a way, they research network one to the other systems and get physicians to document and confirm this so called illness so they are now unemployable and can't be charged for being caught, for use of Marijuana.
