Too much money spent to stop a harmless weed. Tax it, regulate it, but stop wasting money on prohibition.

Yes, it should be legal. Surely there is a way to have some restrictions put on it for driving etc.

Of course it will help everyone, even the economy. More jobs, more taxes and lots of good can come from this. Quit wasting our money going after "Criminals" that are just good people.

Anybody who thinks it should be illegal should look at history, current events and current university studies (Kings College in London, Harvard University and many more) prohibition NEVER works - it encourages crime, gangs and costs the state billions of dollars

I agree with the other people - the US should tax/regulate it instead of wasting money on it.

The USA has wasted tax payers money on doing studies on marijuana smokers. Studies like where they compare smokers from the US to smokers on the islands. Only to find out that people on the islands live longer than people in the US and the crime rate is lower in the islands than the states. Seems to me the government has a hidden agenda on marijuana smokers. They know there is no risk factors, no deaths, no violence that is tied to smoking weed. But the real drugs are sold by the government and their drug dealers ( pharmacist). We have all types of legal drugs that do way more proven damage like cigarettes now they print it on the packs " This will cause cancer " But it's BIG money for the economy...ugh yeah right. This country needs to get their priorities straight. Peace One Love!

Very well said and put together. Because of Chronic pain in my back I have to take some very powerfull pain medication , muscle relaxers , steroid shots, anti-inflamatories & to top it off medication to sleep. I have talked openly with my spine doctor about medical Marijuana. He is for it and likes the bennifits of the herb and the lack of side effects. I would much rather stop putting these powerfull government approved drugs through my body and have an option to put something that ls less severe through my body. But that would really hurt these companies that get us hooked on there approved drugs and we all know just how powerfull they are. Hopefully one day I will be able to choose something that has way more less side effects and will be an option in this State of Texas. Marijuana had Been on This planet Longer Than any other Drug, Used in the B.C to Build Houses and Clothes by the Chinese. It was called a Medication before Jesus was even born. So lets all Vote in favor of Legalizing Marijuana Because its 10x safer than your alcohol your Vicodin and your "Medication"
