End prohibition and the war on the American people's civil liberties! I'm an ethical person, and I have used drugs....even have had a habit when I was younger. It's personal choice, the individual decides what risk he or she is willing to take for personal need or enjoyment. I've had an athletic life and am now in chronic pain from sustained injuries, but I can't get drugs to allow me to function normally and happily because some jerk is afraid I'll enjoy feeling better. It should be my choice to pursue happiness how I see fit so long as there is no infringing on others rights, instead the state says suffer then die.....spit on you soldier, kick you into the street, you didn't do enough for your country so live now in pain or face being called criminal and immoral.

its not like alchohol at all,were it changes your complete personality and makes you do things you probably shouldnt do.Marijuana's more like a relaxing drug and wont make you change your person.

William Randolph Hearst ran a smear campaign against marijuana in I believe the 30's..he did not like the threat that hemp had imposed on the timber industry, which at the time was the lead raw material for the manufacture of paper products. Scientists were paid to carry out ridiculous experiments such as poisoning chimps with pot smoke. The thing they failed to mention was that the animals were induced into a near comatose state due to a constant 24 hour breathing apparatus that had only expelled pot smoke. The f*ckin monkey died because of a lack of oxygen. It was tortured to death. The average American (at a time where ciggs aka cancer sticks -were the coooooolest) was duped into believing that hemp was connected to a strain of plant, that when smoked, could give you hallucinations, and potentially kill you. Doesn't kill, top reason to if not legalize, at least decriminalize it. It needs to be tolerated, and controlled. Age restricted to 21+, enforce strict DUI laws. Tax it, make money, stop spending billions of dollars on a war on drugs. Start an extremely efficient revenue stream. Open businesses, create a ridiculous amount of jobs. To many people its no more than a green ciggarette, including myself. I don't get retarded when I smoke. I calm down. I can focus, I can relax. I can actually accomplish more after a puff or two. Its not about "getting high man", we aren't hippies. I'm not dropping acid, listening to the Greatful Dead, and having random unprotected sex, all while watching a lava lamp. Its a means to avoid chemically unpure compositions. I will never take a pain killer unless the pain is killer.I will never take an anti-depressant because with a bud here and there, it helps me organize my priorities and establish a means of self gratification while doing so. Simply put, its nice to be happy. Don't hate. Educate.

Seriously, tobacco and alcohol are legal and marijuana isn't. Interesting, I guess that goes to show if it is incredibly addictive and WILL kill you that you can sell it in the US, otherwise.. No way Jose!

what is your reason? to sell again? pros and cons, not just because you like your smokes, yes legalize for the ill, i do believe its harmless compared to alcohol, do u really believe they will legalize if they don't make big bucks? hell no, alcohol is a big danger thats what kills people, but Gov't makes to much money and wont ban alcohol, Cigarettes same thing it all boils down to the almighty dollar, and not for us consumers, now they want to allow guns they NUTS? look whats in te streets now, there is no way gov't will ok anything that they cannot get a gOOD CHUNK of, Marajuana helps people thats what is should be used for 1st, i believe there is no danger in Marajuana, ok the Marajuana and ban alcohol, take it from someone who knows what drinking does, most dangerous drug out there in with heroin etc.think about people who u know who drink then people u know who smoke, who has and causes more problems if not deaths!! there i said my peace!

The government needs to do a better job at convincing the American voters if they want to continue on with this failed prohibition of marijuana. They claim that the 'plant' is dangerous and deadly, yet they can't provide any proof or credible evidence to back these claims up. Yes a lot of worse things, the problem is CONTROL, when does the drug(s), liquor etc. take control of you, or do/can you control the ADDICTIONS, I do believe in medical Marajuana,I honestly do not see anything wrong in legalizing either, its better safer than hard drugs and drinking, I do believe you can control yourself while on Marajuana, not like drinking/driving killing people while drinking wheather by car or temper(fights etc.)
I think yes legalize it to an EXTENT, but we know thats impossible unfortunatly, ban all alcohol? never happen to much money, everything boils down to monies for the GOV.(what else is new), why in the hell is drinking allowed???? one of the biggest killer one way or another, let everyone have their Pot! pain or no pain!
