are you kidding me? I'm suprised anyone would vote yes for this in Port Orange. Expect to be arrested the Nazi's by the end of the day.

From the start marijuana was wrongfully made illegal by bad information and fear. Marijuana is a crop that has many many uses and could help us in these hard times. I do not use Marijuana but I know of many who do and I support the right, and think it should be legal.

I have been living in Los Angeles and have seen all the revenue that the sale and taxation of Cannabis has been able to provide a struggling city. It has been miraculous and crime has gone down.

Marijuana does screw up peoples lives as Alcohol does yet Alcohol is legal and taxed.

Consider this, someone from south Daytona, that killed a girl because they were driving under the influence, will NOT be facing manslaugter charges... why do you want to put a pot-head behind the wheel?

two wrongs don't make a right

One of the stupidest results of the marjuina laws is that it also makes Hemp illegal. Hemp doesn't get you high - it can be used for clothing, paper, rope and the seeds can produce fuel for diesel engines (it was the original fuel that Mr. Diesel intended till Standard oil took over) - animal feed and Hemp can produce more paper per acre than trees and grows full size in one season. But - since law enforcement has a hard time telling the difference from pot - it is illegal. And I bet some huge corporations will keep it that way.
