Actually it's not physically addictive at all. There are no Withdraw symptoms. It is habbit forming but its more like being addicted to Mountain Dew.

it is not addictive, but is a good pain killer. It mellows out ADD and ADHD folks. Guys on pot do not go home and beat up their families as do drinkers. Costs too much for law enforcement to deal with, when they could be dealing with serious crimes.

I do believe that legallizing marijuana will bring more problems to our town.We already have marijuana issues at our schools, we need to stop the problems not make it worse.

So... if you can't stop marijuana in your schools with the current system... why would you not want to try another?

You do know it's easier for kids to get Marijuana now than it is for them to get beer right?

Why do you suppose that is?

Could it be it''s because beer is regulated?

Hmmm... think about that one for a minute.

Your alcohol problem is MUCH worse in schools. Open your eyes, you might just hear a loud pop. Yes, your head coming out of your ass.

Maybe is you had ADHD or ADD, you would know that is wrong, it puts them in a state where they don't know right from wrong, and this will not help them over time.

Tasked government agencies have failed miserably to stop or even curb the supply (or demand) of the drug. The U.S. government should therefore stick to its core competencies: taxing revenue to death and inflating annual budgets in excess of fiscal receipts (ensuring additional national debt).

Most everything you've been told about "pot" is probably a lie. You're hard drived from a young age to think it's bad, but in reality it doesn't cause even close to half as much trouble as cigarette smoking, or alcohol.

Half as much?

How many people die every year from complications caused by smoking cigs?

About 450,000!

How many from Marijuana?

O!

Enough said.

The link that lead me to this discussion said I could "Let my voice be heard". I don't think there's a point to letting my voice be heard anymore. There's clearly a stigma against me for being pro-cannabis.
If my voice is not valid, facts can always be. So instead of the public voice, I think facts should be heard:

There. A resourceful, cited fact-sheet that quotes over 50 scientific studies.
Also the fact that there are over 50,000 people in favor in this poll and over 10,000 against should say something for public opinion.

So, there. Those are my two cents. Public opinion and medical research are not against marijuana.

Medicinal marijuana strongly benefits people who live with pain. I live with pain on a daily basis but its illegal. I get addicted to pain medications, not marijuana

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
