Increased amount of governmental profit. Less money being wasted on putting people in prison for weed. Drug dealers off the streets. Easily regulated, just put an age restriction. Less dangerous than both alchohol and cigarettes.

It is legal in Amsterdam and look at what they are known for, prostitution. You just made yourself look stupid. More recent studies have proven that marijuana doesn't kill brain cells, and that the reason for previous popular belief of it killing brain cells, is because they hooked up monkeys to gas masks which pumped straight marijuana smoke into their lungs for hours and hours on end. They looked at the amount of lost brain cells, and thought that the THC was the suspect, but what really happened, was the monkeys weren't getting enough oxygen, so that was the actual culprit. And prostitution has nothing to do with marijuana.

Rules and laws will be there even if MJ is legalized for possession. Laws say you can't drive impared. Have a designated driver and POPO will be happy. Some company written rules say you can't have MJ in your system,on company time,on company premises. DON'T apply for a job where you KNOW there is random testing. What do you not understand about the simplicity of that?

The public is just not buying that aspect.

Stop demonizing something you know nothing about. You sound like the government. And their lies about marijuana have blown up in their faces.

I'm tired of putting kids in jail and ruining their lives over something that can't be stopped. The situation is similar to Prohibition in the 20's. That was unworkable then and this is unworkable now.

They know it's against the law just as stealing and drinking and driving impared is so what are you saying? You want the next generation to be on their personal laws on their personal timeframe? Why not also tell them they don't have to go to school or work and the stores have what they need so go take it,the laws aren't for them. Yea right.

And yes, alcohol and other substances should be banned too. Learn to deal with life instead of looking for a magical cure to make you dumbed down to it.

I agree, and for most-part I am high on life.
Although I like a beer every now and again. Moderation and self-control is key. Being capable of steping-back and truly seeing one-self is when an individual will make changes-if needed. Doctors perscribe mind-altering drugs every day.
What about cheesburgers, ff,( fast-food-joints) many folks are addicted. Something about these fats are affecting folks minds causeing many to over-eat. Back in the day the old-timers cooked with lard and we didn't see obesity like today. Do they know?-yes. Will they ever seriouly reserch and outlaw cheesburgers and such.( who-knows)
It's a world gone mad. lol

Dr Martin Luther King wrote: “One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. You work to get the laws changed IF and only If the public, courts, and the higher courts agree. If you resort to civil disobediance, expect to do time and don't bitch when you get caught.
