Marijuana is 100% natural and 100% physically unaddictive. Alcohol is much much worse and causes many deaths every day. Smoking cigarettes is also much worse for your health.

Prove that anybody has died from using pot. There are so many people that use it safely. Its use can be hidden better than alcohol. Therefore you never know who uses. I know many people who have professional careers that use everyday. Then think of the tax revenue. They will never win the so called war on drugs.

Because it is much safer than alcohol and musch more useful as far as meds and products. The question should really be why is it illegal now and why was it ever made illegal. I believe one people know the truth then it will be legal.

Oh, I forgot to add:

-I know many professionals now who use it and also used it in the past while graduating college with honors – Thus it doesn’t made one a idiot

-Are tax dollars are used to eradicate this drug (somewhere around 7 billion a year)

-It should be decriminalized (why are we the nation with the highest incarceration rates)

-Someone is making money (it’s a 15 billion dollar product is the US alone. People continue to use and buy it. Instead of the 15 Billion going to the US government to fund programs like health care, it goes to the black market and Mexican mafia, etc…) You tell me does that make since.

-Lets have a true debate about the drug and relate it to legal drugs and scientific evidence then make a decision. Also I would say most people don’t know the real history of the drug and how it played in US law. Very shady if you ask me.

-Good documentary – The union the business of getting high (instant watch on Netflix)

-there are so many positives that out way the negatives. I really find it interesting that the majority of the country has still not adopted the drug for medicinal uses… So it can help.. simply said … at least allow it for those who can benefit and live a better life with it…..

I’ll stop here… Get the point!

I think Ocean City has alot to gain from legalization. Tax it just like alcohol. The police dept wont be strained by having to arrest harmless people smoking pot. Enact a law stating that if you are arrested for a crime with marijuana in your system, the penalty is much higher. Alot of people enjoy the herb while on vacation, just like alcohol. How many dui cases are there a month in OC??? How many alcohol related accidents, fights, abuse cases, deaths??? Now how many are attributed to marijuana??? I bet you can't find any. Let's use your heads people!! And to Mr. Lol, how about we lock you up for discrimination. Lock up potheads, for what? using something the govt says we can't, that is absolutely harmless??? Lock people up for overeating, driving while on cell phones, drinking, skydiving, any medicine use, etc. I could go on and on about things people do everyday that harms themselves or others that is somehow acceptable. But to partake of the herb that this now screwed up country was founded on, and a plant that helps so many people, and has huge potential for bringing physical and mental relief for mankind, and financial relief for govt. Enough said.
