Alcohol is mind altering and legal so marijuana should be also.

The prohibition of marijuana is a waste of millions of U.S. Tax dollars and a waste of man hours, over a plant with dozens of medicinal and industrial uses.

It's needs to be used for its "God-given" purpose. That is why it was created; by God. It should never be abused or negative results will surely follow.

Marijuana doesn't have the same affect as liquor; however, liquor is the cause of ungodly number of deaths per year, whether it be automobile accidents, murders, etc. If liquor, in which the advertisers appear to target the younger generation, can be legal, why not marijuana.

i feel that marijuana should be legal,for the fact that it helps those with dieases,and takes away pain,and doesn't hurt them.

When I smoked marijuana I was happy and fun to be with I had plenty of friends. Now I have no friends and can't wait for my next drink. So because of THE LAW I am now a lonely, crazy alcoholic instead of the peaceful, pleasant, full of life person I was when I smoked Marijuana. So you tell me who you would rather be with and have walking and driving the streets.

Human nature I am going to have a vice so smoking pot calms me down and I am very pleasant to be with. Since I can't smoke marijuana I drink alcohol and I am a horrible person to be with. I have no control of myself when I drink but I do have full control of myself when I smoke. It is dangerous for people to drink alcohol and no one does anything to keep people from drinking so why be so harsh on people that smokes?

ALL marijuana should be approved. Why say only sick people get it with a doctor order? If anyone feel they need a release on life for a short period of time should be allowed to puff on a weed produced by nature.

Would probably lead to legalization of other drugs. I don't want to be on the same road with a person who is alcohol impaired nor drug impaired. Too many deaths.

Why keep something like marijuana illegal when there has been no known death?
And why is it that 95% of bars in america have parking lots if drinking and driving is illegal?
And Rx drugs are responsible for a ton of crime and death.
If marijuana was legal people would have a responsible alternative to pills/opiates and alcohol

I have used so many pain pills over the years and never had heard the side effects mentioned as in DRUG ads. It must be great until some MFG like Monsanto tries to own it

how many people die per year by smoking marijuana..... 0. and how many people die per year from consuming alcohol...... alot.
