It would decrease deaths related pot sales, it would raise much-needed tax dollars, it would reduce the amount of non-violent offenders in jail, and it would keep dealer from lacing it with other chemicals.

Marijuana is a natural plant put here by creation. It has many uses and should be grown by those who choose to enjoy or use it as medicine, bio-oil,hemp, food etc..If you think otherwise you should take it up with God, not me!Let it grow in a my backyard and Horticulturist will be the doctors again. It is only one of thousands of useful plants and that is the context it should be put in. If we where all more aware of the world we lived in we would not have as great a need for all those man-made chemical drugs, Let God be the Pharmicist!

80% of the problem with marijuana is that it is illegal. Legalization eliminates our border wars with mexico, creates thousands of new jobs, uncrowds our prisons, and keeps it out of the hands of children.

I think it will help to stop the drug traffic from Mexico. I also think it does help people who are in pain medically

In my eyes the only reason it is illegal is that everyones growning it if the gov. Were able to pay the growers (jobs) and tax it it would have been legal a long time ago

I think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. God put it here. If He put it here and He wants it to grow, what gives the government the right to say that God is wrong? Why is marijuana against the law? It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn't the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit ... unnatural?

After all, Man made booze....God created Marijuana

Legalizing it=decriminalizing it + revenue from taxing it = everyone wins. Alcohol use often results in domestic violence, dui's, hate crimes, battery, etc. Marijuana use often results in eating, laughing and relaxing on the couch. Pretty simple "debate."

It may be legal someday to possess BUT if you have a job in a drug free enviroment you won't be able to use it because of the possibility of getting caught in a random pee test. Changing the possession law will not change the right of an employer to terminate you if you get caught with MJ in your system. Getting fired for a drug related issue is something you don't want on your records unless you are into cutting grass, day labor, cleaning pools, and flippin' burgers.

MJ in your system in school is no big deal unless you are working for a drug free company and get busted on a hair or pee test. When you start sending resumes after you graduate, the dismissal for drugs will put your applications in the can. Corporations are spending more for background checks now because they have more qualified applicants to pick from and they don't need a druggie on their payroll.Think about your future. If you are rich or plan to be self employed,no problemo, fire 'em up.
