I agree, just as long as I don't have to pay for the result of that decision. Which I will because of our ever increasingly socialist government.

Tax it, make it legal. We would profit from it rather than spending billlions fighting it. And it would keep a lot of people out of the over crowded courts for that roach in the ash tray. But, there would not be as many rich congressmen and senators if it were legalized. The task forces and all the mfgrs for the equipment wouldn't be needed either. Who would train the pot sniffing dogs? Chopper pilots for the DEA...out, interstate crime unit...out, rip off prices from your dealer (whom is friends with the D.A., Bondsman, Sherrif, etc...)lowered. Which means less profit for the local politicos as well as some of the elected judicial overlords. Pot being illegal keeps a LOT of people working and millions of dollars to a lot of annual budgets for a lot of departments from your small town crime-fighters to your giant Federal departments. Now, why is pot illagal?

I think that if an educated Dr. feels that it is okay and if it is grown from the ground, which was created by the man upstairs then that is good enough for me. I'm sure the government will take control of that too if it were to be legalized. Lets put the dope dealers out of business.

Taxation first requires legalization and regulation.

I think it has great potential in the medical field. I also support private use as with alcohlic beverages. You just have to be very responsible about it.

Marijuana was at one time legal and the legalization and taxation is only common sense. Plus there are many other uses of the hemp plant.

i do support it. I would love for it to be legalized so that we can all watch our government scramble around to find some way to capitolize on it. It'll never happen though because of the political politics.

lets focus on the hard drugs that are killing people every day and clear up some room in jail for some real offenders. i mean just use the k2 or k3 for example look at the sales. they could be taxing the real stuff and probably get us out of debt as a country oh and did i mention how happy everyone would be:-)

Eh. I prefer that it stay illegal. The thing about the k2 and k3 (Which I believe is now illegal isn't it?) Is that it hasn't been proven safe for human consumption. You don't know that it won't cause lung or throat cancer or some other incurable disease down the road...

Marijuana is very similar to alcohol and cigarettes. It should be a persons choice whether they want to use m.j. or not. Me personally... I am 27 yrs old. I have an 8 yr old, A&B grades since she started school. I have been on several different types of anxiety/stress medication for 10 yrs. However the effects of the man-made drugs made me emotionless and constantly fatigued. Well I lost my job due to "downsizing" didn't have insurance, so I tried m.j. It absolutely changed my life. I no longer take nor need any other medication. The effect of m.j. is like everything else It effects everyone different. Just like alcohol. It is not for everyone. The effects of m.j. for me are: it is a pain reliever. Helps me sleep, w no trouble of waking. Helps me eat, w anxiety it can be a problem. It calms me to have patience w everyday life situations. Come on.. we all now this isn't a perfect world. We have way to many issues to be worrying about a harmless, yet useful, beautiful plant that grows from our ground.

It would save millions of taxpayer dollars that are spent now because of it being illegal.

We have murderers , rapists , robbers , etc - yet we want to put people in jail for marijuana ? It should at least be legal for medical purposes .
