why not? better than alcohol and cigarrettes, it would provide $$ for govt and take them away from organized (and unorganized) crime.

Drugs have played a big part in the ongoing deterioration of this country. Making it legal is not the answer.

It is a plant, that should not have been made illegal in the first place. It is grown naturally. It has plenty of purposes.

I don't smoke Marijuana, but it's time the federal government quit telling us how to live our lives and let us make decisions for ourselves. If we can drink alcohol (worse than weed) than we should be able to smoke weed.

Its a naturally growing plant!! Legalize it already! God made it for a purpose, it should have never been made illegal in the first! Alcohol is worse than smoking weed!

I definitely support it. It is no worse than drinking alcohol to be honest. Legalize it!

Comparatively speaking, the illegalization of marijuana, compared to alchohol and other narcotics seems ridiculous. People who support alchohol consumption, but demonize pot make me realize the influence that propaganda has had on our society. And let's face it, the best excuse these days for people taking addictive substances prescribed by doctors is that they have a prescription, as though that somehow changes the fact that they will always pop pills until they get some sort of help. The damage pot has caused, or the effect it has on people while under the influence pales in comparison to the damage alchohol and popping addictive pills has done to our society. I guess anyone who has smoked knows the truth and those who haven't only have the bogus information that has been shoved down our throats since the demonization of pot began. It isn't worth the money it costs to keep it illegal. The illegalization of it has damaged our society, more than the legalization would, with needless incarcerations and the money spent fighting it. The medicinal benefits would cost the makers of the actual addictive, legalized substances our society partakes in a fortune, as well as the money recieved by law enforcement agencies to fight this "terrible" substance, so I figure the propaganda machine will continue on for as long as it can. I also believe people who use the gateway drug logic are off-base. Those types of people will do drugs, with or without pot. I know alot of people who have smoked, and never went on to do anything else, including drinking.

You have to be either one of the stupidest people alive or else very sarcastic because no one, not even a child, is going to believe those lies. Maybe you did do better smoking weed in 10th grade, but one things for sure... you never attended Harvard, and I'm guessing your probably not a lawyer either.
