Marijuana Debate - McAlester, OK

Regulate and tax it! stop wasting billions of tax payer money on this so-called war on drugs.

We need to support the legalization so people can grow this plant in their backyards and stop sending the money to dangerous Mexican drug cartels.
Marijuana is a relatively harmless substance, and legalization would make sense.

We can deal with the cartels the same way we did with Al Capone.

Why is it people need to be oblivious to the world around them? what is the need to be high and not realize what they need to be doing? They have things to take care of , like a job, family, bills etc. I hate it.

Treat it just like alcohol. It will save a lot of money.

It is not a bad drug by all means but to allow it and to have little kids watching people smoking it and they they think it,s alright to smoke it. I have only took a few hits off of a joint and thats all I wanted of the stuff. We don,t need it allowed in public! If you going to smoke it stay in the bathroom when your setting on the toolit letting out a large turd..

Besides who wants to have the smells of burning ropes when you are walking around outside? True if it,s for certain medical uses then yes use it for that..

Carolyn maybe you should be asking your Husband that question. Since every time I see him his jaw is grinding from that last hit of dope he just did. It's obvious that he is doing CRANK. If you are trying to deny it, you are just lying to yourself and everyone else that knows you. Get him cleaned up and get your life cleaned up before you start putting your nose in other people’s business. You are acting like all the other worthless Politicians back there.

should be treated same as cigarettes very costly to legal system which has been very unsuccessful in stopping its use.
