A (mostly) harmless herb by comparison to the numerous things we have for sale or prescription. Its legalization will increase government revenues through taxation; redirect resources away from the wasteful War on Drugs which has only benefited the prison, police, and military-industrial complexes and destroyed the lives of Black Americans; and inject a multi-billion dollar industry into the legitimate economy.

The growth of hemp would probably do some good replacing petroleum based products that keep our dependency on foreign oil. I honestly don't care if using it as a drug is legal or not, I think it's better as a raw material.

revenue from taxing product will be beneficial to all.
