Take the crime out of it

Legalization will wipe out drug trade in our local communities. That and the state will save mass amounts of money not housing or incarserating people for non-violent crimes.

If Marijuana usage is a health issue, it should be handled as a health issue by the Health Department and not a criminal issue by the Justice Department.

As anybody can grow their own, its not like legal Marijuana sales/cultivation can be profitably taxed to fund the government or used to finance any big crime cartel. Only criminalized Marijuana profits government and criminals and that, perhaps, explains its criminalization.

Look at the kids that smoke marijuana daily, many are slackers and do not care about any thing.

not all tokers are lazy kids, i hope you don't make all of your judgments based on loose associations. i bet you have no problem with having a drink, which is far more harmful.

We need a more peaceful stress free loving world. The world is a stressful beast. Bud is not hurting anyone. Relax

Government regulation of medicinal marijuana would boost our economy in so many ways. It would take the power away from the drug cartels in other countries who successfully smuggle it across our borders daily. With no drug lords to deal with the money could be allocated to other places needed in our country. It would also allow our own farmers to grow another cash crop. Not only will the marijuana buds be harvested but the rest of the plant material as well for hemp products to include rope, clothing, bags, etc.

If theirs spice that does the exact same thing to you now...then why not just stick with the original, why must the man made one be sold...

cut out crime. cut out the drug cartels and tax it.

BASIC COMMON SENSE. Numerous studies have shown how harmless it is, and by regulating it, it would be harder for kids to get it off the streets, like cigarettes and alcohol.
