In 2009 over $300 million dollars flowed out of the United States to meet the consumer demands of a booming agricultural hemp industry. The overwhelming majority of that went to CHINA!

That's like me saying that everyone that drinks will develop problems and end up at your "place". Anything can be abused and will be by several. Just like tobacco, alcohol and firearms.

Marijuana, just like tobacco and alcohol has its down side too but they r far less harmful than tobacco n alcohol. And jus like alcohol, you will have be 21 to purchase marijuana.

Jumping off a 200 foot cliff may not be as harmful as jumping off a 500 cliff. Does that mean you should jump off either? A gunshot to the leg may not be as harmful as a gunshot to the head. Should you do that too? That is the worst argument to use for why marijuana should be made legal. It is a moot point though because it will not pass. If it does, the Missouri legislature will override it or regulate it to the point you won't get it. If that doesn't happen the federal government will step in and make it hard to sell it just like they are doing in California. It cost more to buy it in California at the shops than you could buy it off the streets. I think it is funny as hell and a great thing. Keep your pipe dreams though. I wish you all had as much passion about something that matters and could be done. God bless you.

uh.... I wuz gonna say somethin but I just smoked a joint and forgot.

It has been on earth for yeats all the way to indians.it doesnt cause same effects as alcohol,meth,crack,etc.i say legalize it.you have heard of drunk drivers killing people,people on meth and crack flip out,but nothing like that when smokin weed.if everyone would smoke a joint around the world at one time tjer would be st least a few minutes of world peace.

`Just read an article from NIH and it states that Cannabis use can cause paranoid and schizophrenia reactions. If you read papers wanting it legal it is usually by groups that have no scientific evidence backing their claims. I would say that NIH is pretty much a ligit place to look for scientific information. Plus, common sense tells you that if the stuff makes you high then it is affect cognitive ability and that means in laymen terms that it is affecting brain function.

At least decriminalize it!

Why would decriminalizing it help anything. As for the tax situation, give me a break. High taxes on booze and tabacco has helped out so much right.

I could care less either way as long as the smoke is banned in public places like cigarettes are. I don't won't to have to smell that crap. Otherwise, do whatever the fck you want.
