Marijuana Debate - Jacksonville, NC

I personally have battled with health issues and smoking in the past has helped better than any prescribed medicine today so i feel that it should be legal.

Jacksonville NC is a military and would our MArines and Sailors, to an illegal substancce. Most people who want it legalized, are people who just enjoy it. There still has been no "real" science to prove that weed cures sicknesses. If it was legal already, then we would not be having this discussion. Jacksonville? WOW!

Marijuana isnt a drug-its a plant it ,it just grows in nature period. You dont have to add anything or take anything away. It is what it is- an Herb and in the Bible even (since were in the Bible Belt) God says "I give you ALL SEED BEARING plants and herbs to USE!' He never specifies how were allowed to use it. Therefore I do not think that any MAN should be allowed to limit what GOD says is ours to use.

I wonder if Jesus smoked big fat "L's"....makes you wonder....if God put all things on earth for a reason, then the herb is here for a reason ...so maybe we should thank God for making such a wonderful plant for us to enjoy! Amen!

yes because if we can put gays before marijuana why not it does less harm.

yes it should be legal. it should had been legal before gays became legal. How could they slip though first, weed does less harm.

On a daily basis there are so many people who OD on prescription drugs and alcohol and not one person has ever died from a weed over dose.... its time enough is enough. just like you cant go to work or school high you should be able to use marijuana recreationally !

Helps with medicinal purposes. I was depressed for 5 years when i started smoking, now i am cured of my depression.

it can help improve economy

Marijuana is harmless to anyone over the age of 18. tobacco on t he other hand ...kills people. alcohol KILLS people.
