People that use it dont understand how the THC affects the brain, not the lungs. It is a narcotic and leads to stronger narcotics. Doctors have proven this through research.

Many people have vices of some sort.If you are honest. Marijuana can be a relaxing and calming medicine, especially for the terminally ill,or cancer patient , to your average Joe like me..thanks

It helps with medical reasons and it keeps people calm instead of out on the streets fighting! I will always support it even though I don't smoke it!!

The subject of this post is the legalization of MJ. If it were to be legalized, you would able to buy it, possess it,and sell it in small quantities ,but you would NOT be able to USE it legally if you have any kind of a real job where it is not allowed to be in your system while you are on the premises. Most smart companies spell the fact out up front that MJ and other drugs will not be tolerated. The workman's comp rules require that people be tested randomly and if you are injured on the job,you will be sent to a emergency care location where the first thing they do is hand you a specimen cup....no choise. You test positive in either case, you are history, with a dismissal report that will follow you when you look for another job. You can argue, cuss, and fuss all you want but the company cannot afford to have you there posing a danger to the other employees. If you are already financially set for life and don't ever need to work,go for it but if not, think about the consequences when you fire up that doobie.

MIKE677 wrote: <quoted text> you are 100% correct, ones morals are diffent than others, i have several relatives that smoke pot daily all are employed and have had no issues related to the use of pot. Employed at what kind of job? Decent companies have strict policies on the subject so it's not a matter if you will be caught but when. Once you have a dismissal on your record,it's hard to even get a job flippin' burgers.

MIKE677 wrote: <quoted text> one does sales with a home heat/air company, one does diesel engine repair, one is a barber, the other that smokes daily raises beef cattle on his ranch. none of these have ever lost a job or been to jail for a felony, so does pot ruin your life only if you over do it like any other substance. legalise today!!!!!!!!!! In a small company without substance restrictions or workmans comp, they are safe.
