Marijuana should be legalized.

I know for a fact that medical marijuana helps with chronic pain. I have never heard of anyone killing anyone while smoking marijuana but you always hear about people driving drunk and killing people or themselves. I feel if there is a choice alcohol should be illegal because you do hear all the time of drunk drivers killing or seriously hurting innocent people. You never read in the papers where someone has smoked marijuana and killed others. Italso helps with chronic pain and other major illnesses. So yes I vote yes to legalizing marijuana.

28 years and the stuff has done more good than bad.

I have kids and I do not want my kids experimenting with DRUGS of any sort.

Ohhh I have a guy thought that while high it would be "fun" to play Russian roulette" Needless to say when his poor Grandmother was burying him it was no longer "fun". Medical use is one thing dispite the fact there are several drugs out there designed to do what Marijuana does only "BETTER". Yall wanna say that its not addictive then yall have not done your research, you wanna say that it does no harm then you haven't done your research. Or maybe yall are just looking at your own personal experiences and not the general picture.

This is a prohibition against cannabis - just like the one against alcohol back in the day. The only difference is that this prohibition has lasted 60 years. Alcohol is legal while it is highly dangerous(leading people to violence, alcohol poisoning, drunk driving) and the only reason marijuana isn't is because the government realizes that they won't be able to tax it to its fullest potential. Of course it would pretty much pull this country out of its financial issues, but big companies don't care. You'd be able to grow your own if it was legal and they can't sell it to you if you're doing that.

I believe that legalizing marijuana would help to pull our economy out of it's recent slump, as well as cut our crime rates in half. It would also help to reduce the number of addicts, and make getting the drug less dangerous.

Marijuana helps with my anxiety. If alcohol is legal then so should marijuna be. Haven't they learned anything from prohibition!

It's unconstitutional to take any liberty from us. It cost too much to control the current way. 40 years of a drug war has proved that prohibition is a joke. Marijuana use has stayed about the same. people who use it after realizing everything they have been told about the drug was a lie tend to lose trust in the gov.

Marijuana can be used for so many good things, and they should end prohibition jus like they did for alcohol so long ago
