Marijuana Debate - Hialeah, FL

It's been inflated to look like something that is really worse than it is. It's not bad at all. It's better than alcohol, and that's for sure. You don't see someone that just smoked marijuana beating their kids, do you?
There is no reason for it not to be legal.

marijuana makes you happy and hungry is all i can say.

Marijuana is illegal because it has always been associated with hard drugs(which it is not),by people in politics.It is easy for a politician to get on the bandwagon,against marijuana,to attract conservative votes.How often has anyone heard of anyone driving reclessly,or robbing or killing someone,because they had beed smoking marijuana?If marijuana was legal,I would propably use it,and I am 60 years old.

Marijuana should not be illegal. How can you make something in one state illegal, and in another not? that makes no sence LEGALIZE IT!!

You don't see people getting out of control belligerent or wrapping cars around trees. The worst you see if an attack of a bag of Cheetos and getting glued to a video game or tv show.

Weed isn't a bad thing... it's used to treat cancer because its been show to help those who have it, and it relaxes you. That's all... besides, it just makes you really really hungry, and nobody's ever died from smoking cannibis.

cannibus has been around for centuries, almost every culture in evry region of the world has experimented wit marijuana. from columbus bringing it to the new world to queen elizabeth drinking a weed tea to reduce pain during her menstrual period. marijuana has many different usages. Make weed legal today!# 1 cash crop in the u.s and its an illegal substance i might add. thats all profit for the state or country if made legal. cuz it grows and only needs water.think about it real hard.. dont drink and drive, smoke and FLY..

needs to be controlled, quality & price, drive the criminals out of the business but pay the growers a fair price, even if it needs to be subsidized@

Keeps the peace, helps with anxiety n pain also great sleep aid. Its not a drug the bible says it. Plus I hate cop taking it n smoking it. I get PTA n when court comes; there's no evidence wtf?.

The government needs to do a better job at convincing the American voters if they want to continue on with this failed prohibition of marijuana. They claim that the 'plant' is dangerous and deadly, yet they can't provide any proof or credible evidence to back these claims up.
