We have enough druggies on the roads already.
I think the drunks are worse than the druggies yet drinking is legal.
Studies show legalizing drugs does not equate to an increase in use.
Studies show driving high on marijuana is safer that drinking and driving.

And shooting a person with a pistol is safer than shooting a person with a tank.

Smoking helps to keep some calm. Reduces the urge to commit crimes. Has yet to kill a person. Peanuts have a higher death rate. It isn't really a crime. And for those who feel that it is...so is alcohol and tobacco. To my knowledge alcohol is the only drug that withdrawal causes death. Marijuana hasn't caused cancer but tobacco has. Im just saying that whoever likes to smoke shall be able to do so in their "free time". Not during work or around children under 18 or not even in public. But at HOME you should be allowed!

Most drug related deaths are caused by blunt force trauma as the result of impaired driving. The Marijuana or Alcohol did not induce their deaths, it only facilitated it. The problem is that their unsafe operation of a motor vehicle often causes other loss of life at the same time

No it shouldn't be legal. If it's made legal then crack and everything else will follow. If a person is sick then thats what Doctors and Pharmacies are for.

It will. They will add chemicals to it for a longer shelf life once it becomes legal.

I don't think it really hurts anyone but makes people feel better that are sick.It is a natural herb that would probably draw people away from hard drugs and chemicals.
I agree with you. In my teens and twenties I smoked enough dope to sink a battle ship, it never made me want to turn to cocaine or any other drug. Furthermore I have never committed a violent crime. Our prison systems are full of nonviolent people, their only crime being possesion. If our government wants to win the so called war on drugs, then they would be better off to legalize pot.
What should truly be illegal is when one goes to the doctor and is prescibe a medication, only to be prescibed 4 or 5 more to calm the side effects of the first.

Yes and I agree with you. Just what was it that the Native American people put in those peace pipes anyway;)

Have you ever heard of "home grown"? We have a choice between growing our own vegetables or buying them at the grocery store. Even at the grocery store you have a choice between organic and those chemically grown. My grandparents smoked cigarettes, they grew their own tobacco and rolled their own. All of them lived well into their 90's.
