It is safer than alcohol. Not saying it is completely safe but Noone has ever died from marijuana for one. 2. it does cure alot of medical problems.

Cannabis is grown from the ground. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone pills are pharmacutical drugs mass prooduced that cause over 50 deaths a month just here in Florida. O yea, you have to mix CHEMICALS to make the pills. Again, cannabis is a seed planted, gows and presto...insta medicene and it was here for millions of years before any of us. Does that answer your request for explanation?

safer than most legal stuff and it can battle diseases and it's fun to do on weekends

Marijuana is much less addictive than many other drugs, and much less harmful. Tho government will allow the sale of synthetic marijuana (which has many of the same chemicals as cigarettes, and is much more addictive than marijuana), cigarette and alcohol, all of which are far more harmful to your body than marijuana. There are more marijuana related drug offenses than any other drug. Many of the arrests made involving marijuana are misdemeanors, which means most of the arrests are of users. Marijuana does not have a single recorded death as a direct result of the use of marijuana, but alcohol and tobacco claim hundreds of thousands of lives worldwide every year.

We will leave the trees alone because we kind of need them to breathe and shit. Also they provide ecosystems for other creatures.
