its much less harmful than alcohol, which is legal, and it is an effective treatment for many pain sufferers

It leads to harder drugs, and the person becomes a cough potatoe, most likely never to finish high school.

Make the worse drugs ie. Tobacco and Alcohol,which have serious side effects and cause death Illegal as opposed to a harmless weed like Cannabis

Not only is marijuana non addictive but it is already used for medicinal reasons. Also legalizing it would mean it would have to be taxed and taxing it would completely turn this economy around, not only that but it would create more jobs as well.

I support it because it is medicinal & alot safer than alcohol.

When perscribed by a doctor for the treatment of many known problems and taken as directed like any other controled substance it should be allowed

war on drugs for 50 yrs and all that was acompolished is people sent to prison for a bad law

If someone is going to use harder drugs they will do it no matter what. From the research I have done marijuana it has many more benifits then achocol

Ya like making Paper,Clothing,and other products.But what will happen with the poor cotton and Pulp and paper industries.What will we do with all the extra trees???

I wish there was medical marijuana in Florida. I am a cancer survivor, but the chemo, which saved my life, crippled me with neuropathy in my feet leaving me with and in constant chronic pain. I am 55 and have never smoked until a couple of months ago on a trip to Colorado. Someone I know there suggested I try smoking marijuana for my condition. I am on so many drugs for pain management, which barely works to control the pain. I would try anything (and I have tried many different kinds of pills and therapies) to control the pain and of all the things I have tried smoking marijuana was the one thing that truly worked. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone who sells or where to buy pot here in Fort Myers, FL. It would be so nice if medical marijuana was legal here.

no one becomes a couch patatoe cause of weed that person is already lazy and easy to blame on weed i work 55 hours a week and smoke everyday with out no problems

of course it does for the most it helps and it is no more a gateway drug as a kid drinks milk doesnt make them go to beer
