How would you know if oxyContin is as bad as heroin? Have you tried them? And I believe that god has forsaken Confluence!

Some people will use any excuse to be a stoner.
Anyway, using Marijuana could lead to tobacco use.

Good for you that you don't smoke tobacco!!!

I smoked for about 5 years and quit. I don't know how people can afford the stuff now. Cigs were between 25 and 30 cents a pack when I quit in 67.

I think we need to be clear on what it would mean if they legalized marijuana. You wouldn't be able to buy it at a convenience store. It would be medical marijuana and a Schedule II substance (the same category as percocet and other narcotics). Users would have to see a physician, and if they qualified, would be given a prescription. How eagerly some physicians would hand out prescriptions or medical marijuana cards is up for debate.

It would probably also be legal for those who qualified to grow a small amount for their own use.

I don't find marijuana to be any more dangerous than currently supported medical treatments for pain or nausea. It's certainly a lot less dangerous than alcohol.

It has a need when it comes to seeing a Dr to get your meds like pot. As of now kids can get pot easer than tobacco. If it was controlled by a Dr with the same rules as tobacco.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Pisces

There's a clash today between the past and the present. Someone wants to dwell nostalgically on the good old days but someone else is determined to forget all that and only concentrate on the here and now. The trouble is that neither side will want to concede to the other person's point of view, leading to bad feelings and upsets. If you are one of these people, try not to be too entrenched in your own opinions.
