They never have and never will eradicate it in spite of WASTING billions to fight it. Might as well put that money where it'll do some good and stop wasting manpower on it.

I think all drugs should be legalized, but just like alcohol you can not go to work high (under the influence). Those that do drugs now will continue and those that don't probably won't. Just let me know so I can barricade myself in the house. Those that do drugs need a serious reality check!

I think all currently illegal drugs should be legalized and available in the pharmacy, not from vendors on the street. Those that do them now will continue and those that don't more than likely won't start. But just like alcohol you can not go to work, drive or take them in public.

The gene pool has turned into a swamp. Time to drain the swamp, legalize all drugs the more potent the better.

marijuana kills brain cells. at least that's what they want you to think!. win the studies were conducted and the experiments were done they used lab rats. they put gas masks on them and pumped 4 joints into their lungs for 10 minutes a day for 365 days... at the end of the study they did a test on the brain cells of the ones that were exposed in the ones that weren't... and of course the ones that were exposed had lost 60% of their brain cells... do you know why? because any living thing that requires oxygen to live needs oxygen! if you deprive somebody of oxygen for10 minutes a day in substitute for any other form person or subject is bound to have brain damage it's called suffocation... in short legalize it regulate itand tax it and get this god damned country out of debt

Are you people insane? What are you thinking, medical marijuana? Really? This is a way for people to use it legally! It is a drug!! It is not good for you and that's the reason it has been illegal from the beginning! It's also been proven time and time again to be a gateway drug. People who use it get used to it fairly quickly and long to keep getting a buzz and move on to more severe and horrific drugs. I've seen it happen. This is an unfortunate result of modern media's longtime attempt to brainwash everyone that foul language, drugs and ripping cloths off women are OK...... I'm sick of this crap!!!

Yeah more Liberal dribble! It's OK to smoke pot, it's OK to be promiscuous and have babies out of wedlock. It's OK for single parents to live off the government and produce babies like rabbits, because that was what the government was created for, no worries we'll just raise taxes on the people who are stupid enough to work for their own money. It's OK to use foul language every chance you get and rip cloths off women on public television. No worries that the education system is crashing and that children are dropping out in record numbers. It's OK that pot has been proven time and time again to be a gateway drug that when they no longer get that buzz they will move on to other more effective drugs. It's OK to put off today that which can be done tomorrow because there's no way you say the same thing tomorrow and the next and the next. It's all going to be OK, keep burying your head in the sand and it will all go away. If you won't stand up and fight for your beliefs it's OK, the Liberals and your Government are ready to tell you what to do and how to do it. After all, we wouldn't want you to use all them extra braincells.

What makes it a liberal or conservative issue? I am conservative and have used marijuana for decades. It is the absolute best remedy that I've found for my health issues, it is natural and there's not a damned thing wrong with it. I do not care to poison myself with chemicals, thank you very much, nor do I need "more effective drugs". It is totally ignorant to vilify marijuana, which is in reality a very useful plant.

Well, I'm so happy for you but I have seen it happen to friends, over and over. I've also had friends say the very same thing but are now stuck on meth. Yes, I think alcohol and cigarettes fall into this category as well. Legal drugs are still drugs. If our politicians legalize marijuana even more people will be using it who don't need it, then ever before. I already have a friend in Colorado who acquired a medical marijuana card and is buying the crap for no legitimate reason other then recreation. I think medical drugs are necessary but I also feel that more testing and definitions should be applied to the theoretical use of marijuana for medical reasons. As it stands this bogus medical card is just a way to keep from going to jail for using it verses the need for medical reasons. Your right in the fact it's not so much a party issue but liberals seem to be more into the movement. Frankly, I think our 2 party stinks and is very ineffective. Too bad we couldn't elect people on their accomplishments and who the majority would best like to represent them, other then based on party affiliations. Of course a whole different debate. On this issue of legalizing marijuana, I believe it would be a big mistake.

On this issue of legalizing marijuana, I believe it would be a big mistake. Well, I will say that it's not for everyone. I use it and still live a productive life but I know people who can't do that. But for me that was true of pharmaceuticals. I was taking prescription meds that kept me from functioning normally, to the point that I was unable to hold a job, AND I was still having the health issues. MMJ literally allows me to lead a normal life. I do know it is ridiculously easy to get a license, whether legitimately or not, but there are some advantages to that. It allows people to buy from dispensaries, which means locally grown. No supporting violent drug cartels. I do absolutely agree with you about the two party system. It has done nothing but divide our country. I am not affiliated with either party.

Nothing will stop the use of this harmless herb. As in everything it's about moderation and education. Colorado receives 30 million in taxes a year from legal marijuana dispenceries. Wyoming could easily do the same. Our courts are clogged with marajuana cases that are minor possessions charges. It will cost taxpayers far more to keep it illegal than to legalise it
