It gets you fired at work if you get caught in a random pee test or if you get injured on the job, you get a mandatory test at the hospital and you get fired too. With the crowded job market, how far do you think a" Drug Related Dismissal" on your work record will get you when looking for another job? Think!

I support the legalization wholeheartedly, from both a personal and economic standpoint. The sheer amount of marijuana consumed in this nation is tremendous. If it were to be legalized, taxed and regulated it would do wonders for the economy.

Might as well legalize it. I don't like the stuff.....can't stand the smell of it but hey, it just grows out of the ground, ya dry it, ya smoke it. It ain't like meth or coke which has to be processed.

If the gov't taxed it like liquor, it would be 50-60% tax just as many states tax liquor and then they add sales tax on tax at the cash register. The stores would have to have gov't approved growers that would also be taxed, required to follow all laws of any corporations, and inspections of the facilities would be required with records of EVERY ounce produced just like a distillery. You or your employees screw around with the FEDs and they take all you have and send you off for a long vacation.

First, u should be smacked for your sheer stupidity alone. If u had any intelligence or street smarts whatsoever you would know that based on profit potential any drug user/dealer would gladly accept any punishment u just put out there(minus firing squad) over losing YEARS of their freedom in jails or prison. Second, for you to still put marijuana in the same sentence, much less the same category as those other actual "drugs" shows your complete lack of knowledge about the topic. My advise would be to stop believing what you hear on TV, do some research, then do something productive like advocating to ban cigarettes which LEGALLY kills more people than all those drugs combined.

And where does most of the tobacco come from & the cigarettes??? NORTH CAROLINA!

The more old people die off the sooner marijuana will be legalized. Whole hippy generation is just embarrassed they took it too far with all sorts of hard drugs. Soft drugs like weed cause far less accidents like alcohol.

It may be decriminalized for possession someday but companies covered under workman's comp can still leagally have a drug free work zone and not allow MJ in your system on their time on their premises. Yes, you can come back with the old b.s. about my time,my choice, but on company time, there had better not be any trace if you get caught in a pee test. You know the rules, you break the rules, you get fired. Very simple. Companies don't have time to waste with insubordinate stoners when there are plenty of clean people out there willing to follow the rules.
